I tried this under the DXVA checker, and it's definitely working! It has cut down CPU usage for MPEG2 1080i files in half. I'm now getting about 26% combined between both cores vs 45% I was getting before. The DXVA checker app also confirmed acceleration. It claims to get vmr9 and evr under cyberlink 8 working, and vmr9 under AVIVO working. Both codecs show same usage, but AVIVO seems to have more frames per second (60 vs 30 for cyberlink).

I've been experiencing a frustrating menu problem with PVRX2 since the v1.1.5 release. When I navigate any submenu PVRX2 will exit back to the main menu after a small number of keystrokes. It makes it virtually impossible to look at the TV Guide or navigate a submenu for any length of time.
I tried a fresh install of v1.2.9 tonight without any skins or addons and still have the same problem. I don't see unexpected errors in the logs, it seems that a Picture Library.Deactivate() procedure was called even though I was only using the up and down arrows to move the cursor in the Picture Library submenu.
OK - setting up a new PC as a PVR. Jumped over all the hurdles. Right now, Windows Media Center works and I get live TV. GBPVR works, as far as my media library, playing DVD's, etc. What I cannot get to work is live TV. When I click on it, the screen fades out and right back to the main menu.
I know you'll need more info. So what do I need to post? Not sure how to get a log from GBPVR.
For live TV mode I always use timeshifted instead of preview mode. Of course, this means that for "channel surfing", it takes a few seconds to change channels. I'm ok with that. My question was, I seem to remember a way, that if you hit channel up, it would bring up the mini guide, and you would hit enter on the channel you wanted, instead of automatically changing the channel. I don't have enough buttons on my remote to devote one to the mini-guide. Is there a way to do this? I can't find it in config.xml.
I thought it was <ChannelChangeWithoutEnterKey>false</ChannelChangeWithoutEnterKey>, around line 124, but this didn't fix it. Using the old GBPVR interface, 1.2.9.

Hi I've been using GB-PVR for some time now and I love it...I mostly use it to record my girlfriends daily shows, so I set it up to do a reoccuring recording of the same show using the TV Guide listing (not a manual record). Well ever since tuesday the program hasn't recorded anything, and I got one hot lil girlfriend ready to whop up on me..LOL. Anyways....I installed the new version of gb-pvr, and then went to check the TV guide area and it shows no shows at all for me. The tv shows are showing up in reoccuring recordings area but the main screen when you get into GB-PVR says there are no recordings scheduled. So now I'm lost.........and I need help!...
I found a directory in GBPVR called Jeff and was curious about it. It seems to have info from the very first time I ran GBPVR. The first show I recorded was a 60 minutes episode and something in there went out and looked up the icon for the show and actually put it in the "recordings" menu. It only seemed to work once though.
It ran something called UpdateTVShowDescription to go out to the internet and get it. What is this, and can I have it's functionality back somewhow?

Has support for GO7007SB based devices been dropped in 1.2.9? Aftering making a clean install, in GBPVR Configuration under Recording Source -> Analog Recording Plug-in, the Plextor 402 series devices are not listed.
Hi all. I am having an issue where the recordings have too many audio streams. The contain enlish, sometimes spanish, and narration all on top of each other. Can someone kindly direct me as to how I would tell the system I only want the english channel of audio? I am using a SiliconDust HDHomeRun tuner and the 1.2.9 version of GBPVR. Thanks in advance.
