I'm using an HVR-1600 with OTA ATSC input, and have tried all sorts of muxes, but they all give me this same problem.
When I first start TV (timeshifting), everything works great. When I change the channel, then video doesn't show up anymore. The GBPVRRecordingService.exe-native.log shows this error when it's tuning the new channel:
Just downloaded latest version of skin plugin 3.1.3 from the wiki and had an error with copying fonts came up.
I am running XP so not a vista permissions issue.
I have just re-run the setup a second time and it went through with zero errors, I hadnt changed anything in fact I was re-running to provde this thread with the name of the fone that was mentioned in the error....

is there anyway to make OSD not popup when mouse goes over gbpvr window, i would like to make it like it used to be like click on the window then have the channel info pop up along with channel changer.
Has anyone tried any of the other skins for pvrx2 when using PCH? I am running the BasicSkin with ContourBlue theme and it really doesn't show up well. When I first start gbpvr, the screen is mostly black with a few logos showing. When I press DOWN for the menus, the menus get rendered but not the background. It's not until I go into a submenu and back that everything get rendered properly. Well, almost properly. Any hints? If you want to see logs, take a look at my other post about video/audio problems.
I'm also having a terrible time with MVPPosition. The PCH will use my full screen, but gbpvr will not render and menu screens to full screen. I tried using the MVPPosition plugin and as I increased the height, I saw the bottom yellow bar start to disappear after only being 2/3 of the way down the screen. It seems that gbpvr or mvpmcx2 doesn't know how big my TV is. BTW, I am running SD NTSC.
1. What is the button on the MVP remote that saves a channel as a favourite?
2. Can I add different streams? I'm guessing they need to be MP3 streams correct? (Also if I can add my own streams can you give me some detailed instructions)
I'm having a similar problem that another person posted, but a little different. When I try and play an mpg file from the Video Library, I get the buffering screen, then it goes back to PCH menus but I hear it playing the audio of the video. Is there some special config I need to do on the PCH scripts to get VideoLibrary to work?
Using latest PCH firmware, and new PVRX2 and mvpmcx2 with dvd support.
I am having a problem with version 1.2.9 of pvrx2. It was working fine for me then all of a sudden every time I load it up on my computer the main menu screen is completely scrambled like when a tv can't get a signal. I can see that I can scroll through the menus but can't read anything at all. I tried the old ui of gbpvr.exe and it works no problem. My mvp also displays the new ui perfect too.
I am confused because I don't remember changing anything. I have uninstalled and re-installed but it still is scrambled. I am not sure what to do at this point. Any help would be appreciated.
I write this having watched 'The Apprentice' tonight on the BBC in the UK. I believe the format may have been sold to other countries, Donald Trump I believe did it in the US, is there also an Aussie Version? Is this a global thing, or just Western money grabbing a TV moment?
I hope that anything I say won't disclude me from further GBPVR worldwide chat about GBPVR but if it does then at least I vented.
Sub, thank you for what I believe is the best homegrown, Windows based, Freeware, PVR Program around. I've kept by it for about 4 years now (although admitting to have looked at some others) but without a doubt yours wins hands down with the endless config possibilities.
My Complaints:
The Wiki is looking shabby.
The Threads are in a mess.
No one knows what the latest GBPVR Elements Library/ GBPVR Utilities is to load, some Plugins and Utilities come with it, some don't, and even when they do it may not be the latest 'official version?'
In case any one is wondering I have been using the latest software release today (April 16) for a while now and I haven't seen any issues with mvpmcx2 running.
