I am having a problem with my Xbox 360 seeing Tversity when the GBPVR service is running. Does any one know of a way for allowing both Tversity and GBPVR to play nicely on my computer so that the 360 can see Tversity without having to stop the GBPVR service?
I have the latest version of everything (mplayer, GBPVR and Zprocess2). Using an MVP Box (Wireless).
If I start a movie. It plays good, no problem.
If I stop this movie, the Ztranscode and Mencoder processes keep running (apparently until the entire movie is transcoded to the end). If I start another movie (before the transcoding of the first one is finished) the PC will start an additionnal instance of Ztranscode (but I will still have one instance of Mencoder). There's only one file in the Temp folder and if I play this file (on the MVP or directly on the PC), it will play the first movie I was trying to play.
Bottom-line, when I'm on my MVP box, I can only select a first movie and I have to wait until it's finished transcoding on the PC to select another movie. I believe I have a wrong setting somewhere but I can't figure what.
For info, I tried with Cache = 0 and 1 in the Zprocess setting and I have the same result each time.
Just custom tweaking my TV Guide skin to look better on my LCD & plasma TVs (via MVP). White on black small text is more difficult to read than say white on dark-blue. Can't seem to find the right thing to tweak.
Which line in the Skin.xml (or BaseSkin.xml) do I need to fiddle with to change the background colour behind the listing text in the TVguide.
Well I have been messing around again with clients and have a problem I just cant get through my head. I have a clean install on the client box. 1.2.9 on both client and server. On the client, I can view recordings fine through the Video Folder, but if I try to view them through Recordings, I just get a black screen and then it jumps back to the list of recordings. The same basic thing happens with live TV. I have stopped the firewalls at both ends. Lots of errors in the log, but I can't figure out the problem. Thanks.
For several releases of mvpmc I have noticed a distinct lack of interest in anything new that I have tried to add both from the perspective of your feedback and more noticeably for me, your downloads. There still are twice as many downloads of the old (and technically obsolete) version of mvpmc that sub links to, but I haven't really even received enough anecdotal opinion in the last six months to get an idea what is the best version so if you are happy I am happy.
Therefore I think that it's time for me to stop enhancing the MediaMVP version of emulation mode.
The names of my stations include the channel number and if I choose TVGuideChannelHeaderType>2</TVGuideChannelHeaderType> in config.xml then the channel number is displayed twice. I would like to keep 2 because that way there is a separation between the channel number and the station name. Is there a way to get it to do this?
I'm having a few problems with recordings breaking up on my media setup. It's seemingly random but on certain recordings, the picture on playback breaks up at intervals - blocking up, pausing, then carrying on. Sometimes this crashes playback - i need to skip past the error point and start playback again.
I've got a feeling this is a signal quality issue. I've had to do a passive split on my aerial output in the kitchen/living room to feed a digital LCD in the kitchen. Can't really get away with disconnecting this TV for any period of time to do decent tests for fear of incurring the wrath of the lady of the house
Was wondering if there's something in the logs that would indicate a signal strength issue, if I was able to match it up to a recording that broke up? Would it be worth trying a different MPEG Mux (could this even cause the problems I'm describing?)
The thing that's confusing me at the moment is the fact that Live TV doesn't seem to have the same problems.
Hello, I also am having problems with the MVP showing anything at all on my TV. Using the MVP software I can view my content. Once I disable the MVP services to get GBPVR through the TV nothing works. I can see the menu fine. I can navigate through the menu. It's just when I select something to see all I get is a black screen.
I really would appreciate it if someone could take a look and tell me what I missed, as I am very new at this.
