I have found lots of posts relating to the lack of mouse click support but what is the current state.
Basically I am after the ability to click on an icon / button or whatever the term is and, for example, the album to start playing (assuming I clicked an album cover on the display).
I can't even navigate back.
Can this be done by creating a new skin?
Has anyone done it?
How is it done?
I was able to get my Pinnacle PCTV HD card recognized in 1.0.16 by editing the BDA.ini file, but when I did the same change in 1.1.5, the card doesn't show up on the list of cards when I try and add a source.
I have a Hauppauge USB PVR which shows up, but that has native support.
Has anyone gotten the PCTV HD working in 1.1.5?
I just installed v1.1.5 and it works great. I didn't see it mentioned anywhere in the release notes but the screen saver works again for me now. Thanks!!!
Anyway, I installed the new Weather plugin and thought it would be nice to set it up as a video plugin as the wiki described. I edited the config.xml and added the weather plugin as option 4 since it was the next available option. This is what I have now:
Pressing a number (or no number) followed by F11/Go always brings up the Live Guide. Is there something else I need to do or is this known to be broken ?
Not sure if it's possible, but it would be awesome to take an old satellite receiver and turn it into a gbpvr client. Maybe some sort of mvpmc emulator or something.
A DirectTV 10-250 fell into my possession and I know it's hackable where you can get a bash shell. How would one go about trying to compile mvpmc on it, or does anyone know if there are any "hacks" that would allow for standalone software for OTA DVR's on older DVRs?
I lost my recording capability with my HVR-1600 OTA. It worked last night but today it doesn't. Here are my logs. (I was recording at the same time with my ATI HDTV Wonder.)
im looking at getting sky installed in my bedroom and and thinking of the best way to get the required results.
basically i would like a TV card that i can use with my standard cable input (digital) from the wall (for freeview - so i can record using GBPVR) AND another input (analouge?) from my sky box.
any ideas as to which hardware would do the job would be greatly appreciated.
hi!!!
i record some analog channels, i try to edit those records with Adobe Premiere but the image quality is not good, it's like premiere is trying to focus the image all the time, pixeling it... if i open the records with any other video player there is not any problem... or if i record any Digital channel and i export to premiere the quality is fine.... whats the problem between the Analog records with Gbpvr and Adobe Premiere?? how can i fix it?
I really like the ease with which you can navigate the wiki. However, in the bar on the left, there is no subheading "Using GB-PVR" under "Manual". While you can access this information by clicking on "Manual", does anyone know how to add an extra subheading on the left so that the instructions for using GB-PVR are easily accessible for those who don't think about clicking on the heading "Manual"?
Most of the screenshots are updated for version 1.1.5 unless the screen has not been changed since the last posted screenshot. One exception is the "capture source" tab. I don't want to use my configuration as the sample because I named my capture source "schedules direct" which, as I have now learned, from another post by someone who did the same thing, leads to all kinds of confusion. It seems to me that the best example of a screenshot would be from someone who had more than one tuner and possibly different kinds (pvr150, hd1600), etc., particularly if one source was digital and one was analog. I have read various posts that suggest that the order in which you list the capture sources can make it easier\harder to get all your requested recordings without a "no tuner available" message. This would be easier to explain if the sample screenshot had multiple tuners appropriately named. It would also help if someone who actually worked through the problem explained the best way to list the tuners. (All this in anticipation that I might get a second tuner for Christmas)
