Watched show, hit stop to end watching. Totally black screen, unresponsive. Have to switch to Task Manager and end NextPVR, which shows as not responding. Happened a handful of times.
This log is from a minute or 2 after the latest occurrence.
My IPTV source supplies a m3u file I ingest into NextPVR. I then have to rename the channels to what I want and apply the correct schedules direct programming guide for each channel, about 100 of them. My IPTV source has multiple "feeds" for each channel so if one is performing badly they say to just try another source or different URL. When I create a new m3u file and try to update m3u function in nextPVR it completely wipes all the schedule direct configs I did and I have to do all 100 again.
Looking at the npvr.db3 file I see the URLs in the CHANNEL_MAPPING database and I correct the URL to the new URL I want and then go to Channels page in NextPVR settings and the new URL is reflected, however when I play the channel it reverts the URL back to what was in the original m3u file. Where else do I have to edit the URL for a channel so that it doesnt revert back and I dont have to keep configuring the schedules direct programing guide for each channel?
My Astrometa is working fine with W10 and progdvb.
I did install nextpvr with no problems, Astrometa DVB-T- and DVB-C-tuner was recognized. When scanning all frequencies@256QAM@6900 KSym/s nextpvr finds no channels.
I rebooted the PC and made sure no instances of progdvb are running. Same result.
I have a bunch of recordings from NextPVR v4 that I imported into the v5 .db3 file with some help from Martin and others on the forum (thanks!).
Unfortunately, when I view or play these recordings through the UI from the "Videos" menu the show description from the EPG does not display, either in the preview (prior to playback) or in the OSD when the Blue Button is pressed during playback.
I used sqlitebrowser to go through the .db3 file and see that the EPG info does appear in the SCHEDULED_RECORDING table in the event_details field.
I did discover, though, if I dig through the "Recordings" menu and find the exact same recording, the EPG info is displayed in preview AND on the OSD during playback. Does this make sense? NextPVR must be doing something different in Recordings and Videos?
All of my newer recordings made under v5 show the EPG correctly in preview and playback from both Recordings and Videos.
I'm running Linux Mint for the server, and Kodi with knewc on the server as well as several clients and have the same results on all clients.
Any thoughts on how to fix this?

Hi, wondered if someone could help. I've been using NPVR for quite a few months without issue, but for the last week or so any live TV transmissions stop after about 20 minutes. They seem to be ok if I happen to be recording the channel at the same time, which I found out by accident. I use NPVR via Kodi, but this is also happening for me via the web app.
I have Version: 5.1.2.210603 installed and logs attached.
Since upgrading to NextPVR v5.1.2.210603 shortly after its release (and v5.1.2.210601 prior to that) I have been getting 'Database Locked' errors throughout the day. The web ui is very slow to respond too, I guess due to these errors. I am at a loss to know what is locking the database as this PI is not used for anything else other than NextPVR/Comskip and has preformed flawlessly up to now. I have attached the latest logs if that help;s.
I'm not sure how long this has been going on, a month or two, but live TV has been doing a lot of buffering and then audio/video gets out of sync.
I have three TV's on WIFI and one on wire. The WIFI I could understand, and that's part of why I kind of ignored it, thinking that I'm having signal issues, but more recently, my primary TV has been having the exact same issue. I turn on the TV(s), with the WIFI TV's, I normally get audio and it takes several seconds for the video to catch up. However, like I said, I'm now seeing similar on the primary TV, which is wired. I turn on live TV, I get buffering, although much quicker to sync up, then after watching for a few minutes it it starts buffering again and all of a sudden, audio and video are out of sync. Never used to do this.
I use RPi' 4B's on the WIFI and a 3B+ on the wired TV. Linux on the NPVR client, just upgraded to V5.1.2.210603 and fully patched the client as well.
Thinking about reinstalling everything (not having any problems, but I have a lot of orphaned files left over from years of experimenting). I typically install Ubuntu Server now if I can, and avoid the GUI. Will that work for NextPVR?
Walmart seems to be almost giving away the Tivo Android TV 4K at $19 in the store right now as they liquidate it for their own player soon. It actually isn't going to be a better box. You can de-Tivo these boxes to get close to stock Android TV and they are pretty clean.
What I find nice about the Tivo for Kodi and NextPVR use is that the remote has number and channel up/down keys which is rare in Android boxes. I made my demo of 4 UI's for NextPVR on this box https://forums.nextpvr.com/showthread.php?tid=62449 and I didn't see any issues.
Hi. This new update has some sort of issue with the Auto aspect ratio. It works OK on most channels but for some reason misinterprets the correct layout on at least 2 channels. The issue seems to be when a station is transmitting an old tv show in 480i. I imagine these old tv shows were 4:3 ratio. However NPVR displays them in strange squashed format where people look really thin and tall... so I guess it must be adding black bars on the sides ??? where none are needed. The 2 channels I am sure it does this on are 29.2 TBD networks and 29.3 Charge network. This same thing happens whether I watch with the NPVR client or watch with the browser (EDGE). If I select FILL aspect in the client then the picture appears to have normal proportions.
The odd thing is that I would have expected other tv channels showing old programs in 480i to have the same issue but they do not appear to at this time. Why would only these ones be affected?
If I check my regular TV (LG) these same channels dont have any aspect issue. I did not see this issue happening on the old version of NPVR from March.
