Ok, bear with me, this must be obvious to someone but I can not get it.
I'm writing an application in Visual Basic 2005 Express, and in my project I have an Access database added (.mdb) and the dataset (.xsd). What I need to do is in some functions I'm writing, retrieve information from a Table in said database, and I'm sure there must be some easy built-in functions for doing this but I don't know them.
For example for a constructor:
Code:
Public Sub New(ByVal intID As Integer) intClassVariable = some data from the table retrieved using the ID parameter
The ID parameter being the ID on the Table of course.
So how do I accomplish this? I noticed I can declare objects as DataSets...do I need to set a 'DataSet' object to refer to the .xsd part of my project?

A few weeks after OCZ announced their 1800MHz (PC3-14400) DDR3 modules, Super Talent have gone one better and announced modules rated at 1866 MHz (PC3-14900), putting them 66MHz ahead in the race.

Quote:Queue queue = new Queue(trailers.Count);
PluginHelperFactory.getPluginHelper().PlayVideoFiles(queue);
What type of objects can you put in the queue? Is it simply paths to the files to be played or is there a 'QueueItem' object that I can use to supply metadata like you can with getPluginHelper().PlayVideoFile() ?
I couldn't live with out Xrecord any longer. After upgrading to V1.0.16 last week to switch over to Schedules direct, I have been with out it. But the wife and I missed it to much. I installed it tonight and glad to see it working again with PVRX2. However, using the community skin 3.0.1 X's fill the screen . With the blue skin it works, just not Community 3.0.1. What do I need to do to get it working with the community skin? I like the Community Skin to much and don't want to forgo it.
I just upgraded to 1.0.16 (latest release) and there is no more EPG option for zap2it labs. I recreated by account at tvlistings.zap2it.com per http://gbpvr.com/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Manual/EPG#toc13 and I'm not sure how to configure gbpvr to utilize it.
If gbpvr is no longer compatable with zap2it, are there any other free listings services?
I'm using an AVerMedia M780, but am unable to move between NTSC and ATSC channels (I also attempted QAM, with the same results).
When I start PVRX2 I can view an analog or digital signal. I can move among channels of the same type (digital or analog), and I can move from an analog channel to a digital channel with no trouble.
But when I try to move from a digital channel to an analog channel, the screen goes black. I can sometimes go back to a digital channel, but not allows. The audio tends to go out for all of PVRX2 (viewing a XVID file produced no audio) at this point too.
If anyone has any ideas, I would greatly appreciate it! This is my last step before calling my little adventure here a success.
I have an idea for a plugin that would really complete my Home Theater. I'd like to have a plugin to GB-PVR that is a database of all the DVD movies I have. I have basically an unlimited supply of dvd-r media and the top tier of Netflix service so as you can guess my movie collection is quite large. It would be cool for someone who is using the MVP to browse the dvd collection to see what is available. Any thoughts around this? I think building a PC side entry form into an access or sql database would be easy enough, it's the GB-PVR side that I have no idea how to create.
