Hi all, need some help pls.
Some of my timings off of Zap2XML is kinda screwy...
Please see attached picture.
Most of the listings are correct, but every couple of hours, some shows are read as being 3-4 hours long!!!
When really, they are 1/2 or one hour shows.
I am able to load GBPVR but PVRX2 locks up immediately. Nothing happens but the outline of what should be the software. This happens when loading from the menu or the tray. See logs and image attached. Thanks.
I'd like to extend all the times of a series of searched shows that I check, and the Advanced Episode Search Results Page has pad, but not an extend field.
So I've posted this in the SD forums but haven't gotten much help.
Here's the request in the log:
Requesting listings for the period: 2007-09-20T00:00:00Z to 2007-09-27T23:59:59Z
Here's what happens in my log:
zap2it: The endTime you specified T23:59:59Z is not in a valid format, and has been corrected to a default value.
zap2it: The startTime you specified was invalid and has been corrected to 2007-09-20T00:00:00Z.
zap2it: The endTime you specified was invalid and has been corrected to 2007-09-21T23:59:59Z.
zap2it: Your subscription will expire: 2008-03-21T08:30:07Z
I get some tv listings for the default dates (a few hours and mostly in the past) but for the rest I get (no show details) even though it looks like there's info there in the xml file. I've tried everything I could find in both forums and still nothing.
I really dont understand this 'error' as the request date/times look to be in the same format as the defaults they get reset to.
Did zap2it stop thier Service? I'm running version 99.12 I can update when I get home but I just wanted to make a quick recording when I noticed that my EPG was blank. when I try a manual update I get an error about not finding the address. When I got ot check my account labs.zap2it.com no longer exists it just takes me to the main page.
What can I do about this without upgrading and if its still a problem after the upgrade what do it do?
I may be missing the obvious, but how do you play DIVX (AVI) on the MVP. All I have installed is GBPVR v1.0.16 and the Hauuapage Drivers for the PVR150, nothing else. Do I need to install another piece of software, or are there some settings I have to adjust? The MVP keeps crashing everytime I try to play different AVI movies. Any help would be much appreciated.
Well I thought I was almost home free with getting QAM to work on the M780. Unfortunately not though. I tried a QAM HD recording today and the first thing I noticed on the file is that it was an MPEG file not a TS file. Any particular reason? I know other PVR programs I've worked with in the past (BeyondTV) will just pass the TS file along and not make it into an MPEG.
So here is the necessary info: GB-PVR Version: v1.0.16
I've also attached all of the logs too. Thanks in advance everyone!
I'm trying to convert a custom ffmpeg conversion thing in my config.xml to a string I can use in a .bat file. I just can't figure it out. Heres the bit I want to use,
I pieced together some code I found in the wiki and on this forum and came up with this,
Code:
@echo off
cd âC:\Program Files\devnz\gbpvr\Third Partyâ
FFmpeg\ffmpeg.exe -y -i â%~dpn1.mpgâ -sc_threshold 1000000000 -flags +cgop+ildct -target ntsc-dvd -f dvd -b 3000k -vcodec mpeg2video -acodec mp2 -ab 128 â%~dpn1.new.mpg"
It doesn't work. What am I doing wrong? Can someone help? This is my first attempt at creating a batch file so I'm rather clueless at the moment. I hope to improve.
I have one 550 card in my system, and am looking to add a second.
I'm aware that people have had problems with dual 550s in the past (sound cut-out), but I think these problems had to do with ATI's driver, and have since been resolved.
As for GB-PVR, it seems that changing the AutoDetectEncoderMethod setting in config.xml resolves most issues.
So for people with recent dual 550 experience: Is it mostly successful now that the driver issues are resolved, or are there still lingering problems? Is this still an officially unsupported configuration by GB-PVR? I'd like to use two 550s instead of a Hauppauge 150 if possible, but don't want to buy a second 550 if I'll likely be faced with problems. Thanks everyone for your help!
