I was testing my iMONLCD plug-in and noticed that all my plug-ins are being loaded twice by pvrx2. Any ideas why and how to stop it? Logs are attached...
I've developed a helper DLL and preliminary tutorial document for creating GBPVR 1.x plugins. I used the DLL to create SearchWizX2 plugin, so I thought I'd share with others.
It is definitely in the beta stage, and most assuredly has bugs and some under-developed features. I've found it to work well for developing plugins with simple interfaces (ie label, button, text box and list).
If there is interest, I'd be glad to share and eventually post on the wiki.
WizTools were developed to make development of GBPVR plugins easier and to provide a 'framework' for new developers wanting to create plugins.
The tools consist of:
---------------------
* UI controls (Label, TextBox, List, CommandButton)
* A Skeleton plugin to model new plugins after (used in the walk-thru).
* Helper objects for UI and GBPVR management.
* A help file describing all properties and methods for the helper object model (WizTools.chm).
* A working example plugin (WizUIHelperDemoPlugin) complete with C# code and skin.xml
* A developer document with a plugin development walk-thru guide.
10/11/07 : v1.0.12
* Fixed Rendering required method for controls that are not visisble (always returns false).
* Added callback interface to WizUiButtonList
* Updates to HttpInfoGrabber
09/27/07 : v1.0.11
* Enhanced HttpInfoGrabber to provide potential show items and URLs. These are entries that show in the exact, partial, approximate and popular title sections.
* Added supporting methods parseTitleFromTitleUrlEntry(), parseUrlFromTitleUrlEntry(), getPotentialTitlesArrayList() for retrieving new data items in HttpInfoGrabber.
* Added exception handling on get Thumbnail image if not found.
Playing back large files (90+min) files, mpg encoded dvd's, randomly lose audio/video sync. The fix seems to be to skip back and it catches up. Probably does this 10-20 times during a movie, but does not do it when playing a recorded program played from the same volume.
I have a V-Stream tuner based on the conexant Xpert 2388x chip set that I have been successfully using in MythTV.
I have been trying to set it up on the same machine with a new hard-disc, Windows 2000 and GBPVR.
GBPVR recognizes it as a Kworld Xpert DVT DVBT which I think is correct.
But I canât get any EPG or signal strength/quality.
Anyone know what I have done wrong?
I am sorry if this has been asked/answered 10 million times, but here it goes--
GB-PVR
Whenever I start gb-pvr, it comes up fullscreen, and everything works fine, everything is still OK if I hit alt+enter and switch to windowed mode- but if I switch back to fullscreen (alt+enter again) the window comes up all messed up in a sort of not quite fullscreen mode
In order to get it running right, I have to exit and start gbpvr again..
pvrx2
Whenever I start pvrx2, it comes up fullscreen, and everything is fine, but if I hit alt+enter and switch to windowed mode, I am given a teeny tiny window every time, which although functional and stretchable, is annoying to see as no matter how many times you resize it, it shall come back from fullscreen this way.
my setup is a little screwy and might have something to do with it if it's not a common problem, so here it goes-
got an
Athlon64X2 3800+
2GB RAM
WinXP Pro
ATI Radeon 1900XTX (Catalyst 6.10)
Dual monitor setup
Adaptec AVC-3610 USB dual tuner capture card (using MCE drivers from HP)
Just wondering why Firefox (v2.0.0.2) doesn't auto-fill the username and password login details. Not a big thing but would save a bit of time is if it could...
I don't know if this is a Firefox or an EWA problem. Thoughts?
I have the 1.08 software installed with the freecom BDA drivers on windows XP SP2. 2GHz AthlonXP with 512MB Ram. I'm using a decent aerial rather than the twig that supplied with the USB stick.
The basic software is working fine with smooth video and recording is fine. Mostly far better than the software that came with the hardware.
However I have a couple of issues whcih I do need to resolve:
1) When I change channels it takes what seems like ages. A good 5-10 seconds. With the freecom software this was less than a second.
2) I don't seem to be able to get the built in EPG to work at all. The XMLTV plug in works fine, but I also want to be able to install this on the laptop and use when I don't have an internet connection, so getting the built in EPG would be really helpful. Basically, it takes up to a minute to get down to the 1% remaining and them seems to stick there.
I'm not sure whether this is all related to the BDA drivers as the scan for channels took quite a long time as well in comparison to the freecom software. What experience are other people having with the freecom USB stick? Channel changes and built in EPG OK?
If I watch a program in livetv and then I want to record the program using the CTRL+K buttons.
Is it possible to stop the recording while still in livetv directly whit a key button?
Cause now I have to go out of the livetv, choose recordings, choose pendings and the cancel the recording program.
Or did I missed something?
I looked in the Keyboard Reference at the GBPVR documentation page.
