Hey guys. I am having trouble with my SSD which I bought recently and watched shows on Kodi. After I have watched a show the tick will appear but if I go away and come back then the tick is gone. It also won't remember where I am up to in a show so I have to remember where I was and go back to that point after starting from the beginning again. Anyone know how to fix it? Thought I would ask before I went back to using an old hard drive.https://omegle.onl/vshare
Hi,
just wondering if anyone has some thoughts on this one.
I am running latest versions of Nextpvr V5 and Kodi add-on under Windows 10 and Kodi 18.9 using a HDHomerun Quad tuner. Generally free to air works OK however at times pixelation starts. I have noted that if you pause the live TV for a few seconds then restart it (using TimeShift option) the pixelation goes away. If you show the kodi debug screen (shift+ctl+O) the video queue generally sits at around 20-30%. If you pause for a few seconds the video queue goes to 100%. Maybe this says something. I have the pre-buffer set to 3 seconds and have moved this up and down a bit but it doesn't seem to help. Also noticed that putting both chuck sizes to max helps with the problem but does not totally eliminate it. Maybe these settings could be increased to fix the issue, I don't know.
I've compiled a m3u playlist that works great locally but doesn't work when I try to access it remotely, using VLC. Any suggestions?
I've used the format
#EXTM3U #EXTINF:-1 tvg-chno="1",Your Channel Name http://IP:PORT/live?channel=1
Does the NPVR PIN setting have a role in this or is it likely another issue. The correct PORT number is forwarded on my router and I can access the NextPVR server remotely via the NextPVR app on android (but I need the m3u playlist instead because of some functional limitations with the app).
I have been running NPVR (currently 4.2.5 (191014)) with two DVB-S tuners on a Windows7 pc for years without problems
Today I tried to add the 'More4' channel (so that I could record the test match highlights) and... it failed, but I can't see why
I found that More4 was not in my list of scanned channels, so I checked the required tuning parameters and added this to my tuning .ini file -
10936, V, 22000, 56, DVB-S, QPSK
I then ran a scan and the new channels (including More4) appeared in the channel list - but - when I ran the NPVR front end and selected any of the newly added channels from the epg nothing happened
I checked the logs (attached) as far as I could and it appears that when I select More4 there are no errors but no sign of any decoding or display.
I have checked that More4 is transmitting ok by tuning to it directly on my TV (channel 156) and it displays no problem.
This is probably something simple that I'm missing but (rather like the England team today) I would be grateful for any insight.
Updated nextpvr to 5.1.0.201216 and started to notice kodi crashes when I am watching a recording that is still recording. While trying to troubleshoot I updated Kodi to 18.8 from 18.5 and there was no difference. It seems to happen at the 1 hour 36minute mark. Logs are attached.
I have a stable NextPVR setup and this weekend encountered multiple “[Failed: Channel not found. Deleted?]” errors. Config: Windows 10, NextPVR, V5, Ceton Proxy, InfiniTV 4
What is somewhat puzzling, in one instance, is that V5 was recording the prior show on that channel that errored.
I did find several [ERROR][9] writer.Close() did not complete in a timely fashion in the logs and not sure what the cause or how to address it.
Finally took the plunge and upgraded v4 to v5 last weekend and have been having some issues.
The upgrade went reasonably OK, lost some pending recordings but was able to fix all that and have had a number of successful recordings.
I am running a very simple setup with a Win 10 Intel NUC receiving the aerial feed via a USB DVB-T tuner and out to a TV via HDMI, I use the NPVR windows client to set and play my recordings.
I am occasionally getting some sound stuttering when I first play a recording and when I skip forward, this is is not present when I play/skip the same recording in media player. I saw another post about this and sub said there would be a fix for low power machines in the next release so I am hoping that will fix this issue.
I am also seeing slow scrolling in recording lists; the old v4 client scrolled through very quickly but v5 seems to almost pause before moving to the next item.
The main issue, when scrolling, is that twice now the client has hung. Nothing works, not even alt-ctrl-del. I have to press the power button to switch the machine off. Each time this has followed a scroll down the ready recordings list and the last few items did not display the relevant poster on the right-hand side of the screen.
Logs attached, any thoughts/comments/advice appreciated. Thanks.
i am running nextpvr in a docker install using latest image from December, and power my box using usb from my TV, so the box is only on when the TV is on. this leads to no EPG often when i turn on, and i need to manually update or wait for the next scheduled epg update run.
is it possible to force epg to update (xml url for iptv channels) when nextpvr starts using poststartup.sh and placing in the scripts folder?
if yes, what would i need to put in that file?
fyi i am using matrix RC running in CoreElec, and from what i read when EPG updates in NextPVR, it forces Kodi to update from NextPvr, and this is new for Matrix, so hoping a simple script to update on start will have my EPG populated well in an automated fashion shortly after the box is up and running....
First, I tried to install NextPVR using the PPA from the Kodi website. That gave me an "unknown error" and would not enable or let me uninstall in Kodi.
After that, I was able to get the NextPVR service installed and running. I have not added any devices or channels yet, but NextPVR is viewable with the web interface.
But now that NextPVR is working, I do not know how to get Kodi to see it as an add-on.
I dug around and deleted the nextpvr folder from the addons in the usr/share/kodi/addons folder to see if it would make Kodi look somewhere else. No soap.
I don't know where to go from here. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Bob
