Guys,
I have 3 MVPs working wonderfully. But, once in a while, if an MPG file contains more than a few seconds of black frames the audio gets out of sync. Skipping forward or backward clears it right up.
Anyone else seen this? Is it simply an issue with the MVP?
Dongle Version: 1.1.52.0 (I think)
All of my MPGs are converted from DVD video using Videolan. Here's VLC my command line:
I'm using ZAP2IT. I have my correct lineup selected, and GBPVR gets the data, and assigns the TV shows to the correct station, but the show is off one hour from what it says. For example, it will say "Seinfeld" is airing, but when I go to watch it, "Everyone Loves Raymond" is on.
To compensate, I pulled my system clock back one hour. That way I could at least know what is airing and schedule recordings. This workaround has worked, but I need my system time to be correct for some web programming I'm doing.
I tried so many things over the weekend trying to get EPG mappings to work but I can't.
I'm using the Zap2It to download the DN EPG. I then scan the channels but then it doesn't map. I tried doing it the other way around and that didn't work either.
I tried using the DVB EPG with DN option enabled for BDA driver and that doesn't give me any EPG. I manully mapped a few myself but doing them all manually would be such a pain and so many channels are unknown so I don't even know where they go.
I'm having trouble getting GBPVR to scan channels with my SkyStar2 PCI tuner. Once the scan starts the first channel appears in the preview, but after a pause either Config.exe crashes with an error (reading/writing protected memory), or it just disappears.
I've tried various Video Decoder settings and BDA Multiplexer settings without success.
I've attached the log files from config.exe - anyone have any ideas?
I can animate with XML and Flash. I was wondering if Flash could be integrated into GBPVR to create a more interesting menu? The new Sagetv has animated their menus. What is required to develop this in GBPVR?
For any Swedes out there using tvxb - you might have discovered your tv guide being empty today, if you use default settings. If you open your tvxb ini file, and search and replace
Code:
htmlstart=<!-- Rubrik -->
with
Code:
htmlstart=<!-- Start 0 -->
your problem is solved. I have provided tvxb with an updated ini file, so I hope they update the one on their site soon.
I am trying to access some cifs off a NAS directly with mvpmc. Im guessing I need to use dongle.bin.mvpmc.config , will the MVP request this file from the GBPVR software if it is in the dongle directory?
What do I need to put in dongle.bin.mvpmc.config to access it ?
Woot has the Belkin Mediapilot wireless keyboard for $35.00 +5.00 shipping (usa only). Be fast if you want one. Woot often sells out by the early afternoon.
I have been looking in the stores for this thing for nearly a year. It's usually about $99.00 if you can find it.
The mediapilot has a built in universal remote. Seems to be the perfect keyboard for GBPVR.
Just out of interest, has anyone managed to get BBCHD working to their satisfaction on their setup? If so, I would be interested to hear about your experiences as I'm thinking of upgrading my HTPC to try and achieve this.
For reference, I'm currently using an Athlon64 3500+, an onboard 6150 (which supposedly has some sort of HD acceleration built in) and the cyberlink H264 codec. With this, BBCHD plays but only at maybe 5-10 frames per sec.
