I have recently upgraded to Vista and have had some "issues". However most are solved but I seem to have a really odd one where the software installs and seems to work except the following:
1) The recording service will not restart and gives a .net exception
2) When recording or using GBPVR to view live video the workstation can blue screen with a STOP 7E message.
Any thoughts or other issues that people have come accross with VISTA ?
The hardware is ASUS P5B mb, with a Core 2 Duo 6600, 2GB RAm and a Radeon 1950 XT video card.
I have my PVR up and running fine except for this really annoying IR issue.
Every time I use the 45 button remote that came with my Hauppauge to bring up the guide or anything the Hauppauge IR configuration utility pops up.
It seems like it is not save the configuration after I run through the wizard.
I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling the latest software and it didn't help.
Anybody else see this?
Thanks, Dave:confused:
When I call getTunerStatus(), the string indeces match up with allocation_order index of the capture source. Why doesn't it use oid index - 1 as the index to match the string item to?
e.g. I have capture1, capture2, and capture3 with oid of 1,2,3 respectively. allocation_order is 0,2,1 respectively. If capture1 is recording, capture2 is sleeping, and capture3 is recording, getTunerStatus() returns a string array of capture1:recording xxx, capture3:recording, capture2leeping.
forgive me if this has already been covered but i got the software to download no prob but now installing is a very different thing. the software will start to install then flag errors if you hit ignore it will go on till done then you go to open the software and it errors and will not open. is there a install manuel anywere or does anyone have some addvice? thanks
I bought Digital AccuNAS AN104L3T 1U Raid Rackmount Storage (Linux Edition), 4pk 750gb SATA Hard Drives for just $4195.00 from Planetonline. It offers comprehensive NAS in a feature-dense 1U server with Intel Penitum Dual Core CPU. After my upgrade to 99.12, I discovered that trans2mvp.bat is not always called as expected.
In my config.xml, I have the following lines:
<MVPTranscodeUsingFFmpeg>false</MVPTranscodeUsingFFmpeg>
<MVPTranscodeUseFFDSHOW>false</MVPTranscodeUseFFDSHOW>
So when I play an .avi, my trans2mvp.bat is running as expected (I use ffmpeg for transcoding in my trans2mvp.bat). But when I then stop the playback and try to watch another .avi while the transcoding of the previous .avi is still busy, trans2mvp.bat is not called anymore.
Why? Is that because gbpvr detects another ffmpeg process is still ongoing?
Firstly can I say how much of an improvement gbpvr is over the Pinnacle software i was supplied with!
I have just bought a Pinnacle dual diversity stick and am getting momentary freezing of the picture every few minutes. I have tried closing down anything in task manager that is using cpu that I know what software it is. I am running xp and am still waiting for a vista driver and will switch to Vista when available which may help. I am in the Uk, could it be a problem of signal strength?
Any suggestions would be gratefully received
