i've noticed some weird behavior on the system screen lately [since last release] not showing anything, just blank...
figuring it was just my machine, i hit the power button which i have mapped as shutdown plugin and viola it comes up! try to go into from the main menu and nothing appears...try again from F8 and it's still working there..
so main menu->system = nothing shows
choose key that starts default shutdown plugin[F12], system screen appears fine..
any thoughts? bug? happens on both my machines...one MCE one XP pro EDIT: only happens on XP pro machine.
bug?

MythTv has a MYTHflix plug in where you can access and organize your netflix que with MythTV. That would be pretty cool in GBPVR. I have nop idea how to make that happens but i am sure someone is much smarter than I about that.
This is kinda wierd, I haven't seen this anywhere else. After I go to timeshift mode, all I get is a black screen. I still get audio. If I skip ahead however, the video magically appears. I had to run the reregister filters to get the timeshift to work, did this change something that I need to change back? Any other ideas?
I've noticed whenever I watch an in-progress recording from my HDHomeRun, the first time I skip in the file after the recording finishes, the video skips to the beginning. The timeline still shows where I used to be in the file, but every press of the skip forward button resumes playback at the beginning, even if I tell it a certain number of minutes to skip. The only way to get back to where I was is to exit the recording and then resume.
This only happens with my HDHomeRun recordings, never my Hauppauge recordings. My HDHomeRun recordings are in DVR-MS format.
In the attached log this happened during playback of Lost and Survivor.
What am I doing wrong. I love my GBPVR and have it set up on my TV but I can never get rid of the blue bar at the top of my screen. If this is a windows setting can someone tell me. It's the blue bar that right now says GBPVR forums. When I watch my recording or even live TV that bar is there.
Hey ujb, a request for the picture library, can you make the default sort of files selectable . I like mine in reverse order (since they're from a web cam) - and currenly I've been editing the photolibrary.aspx file to reverse the array.
I am a newbie to this and can someone please explain to me in simple english how to setup the channels in gb-pvr, I currently have an NTL box sending a single signal to gb-pvr into a pvr350. I also have a usb-uirt conected and working with a pvr350 controller.
In "Capture Sources -> Channels" do I have to set up more then one channel and what should I put for the "Source Channel"
I have also added the "USB-UIRT Plugin" and selected the standard "PACE NTL Box.dat" device profile to use.
Although my card is a WinTV PVR USB, the WinTV PVR USB2 link directs to the drivers page for my card which I actually have installed.
Can anyone advise on what I need to try in order to get my card working?
If it is not supported and the link is a mistake, is there anyway I can configure GB-PVR to recognise it. I noticed that there is a section in the Wiki to add an unsupported card but it seemed to concentrate more on DVB-T cards using BDA drivers and not Direct drivers for analogue h/w encoders.
I'm putting a client PC together for GBPVR from scattered junk, basically an old P3 1gig. The only thing I'm missing is a decent video card and I've been offered the choice of picking one from two. I can't try them out beforehand, so which would you go for??? (AGP video) and I don't need the composite of s-video out, just VGA.
