The reason for not going the standard route of a PCI card is that I am using a SFF (small Form Factor) machine and this only has 1 PCI slot. This I have reserved for the graphics card.
I have installed th tuner and all seems to work fine with the Blaze software that it is provided with but it is not being seen in gbpvr. I can't seem to find any of the settings for it. I have looked through the forum and I have seen items refering to altering the ini file to add the device details. The only issue is I have no idea what details I need to enter in the ini.
I am also having issue with getting the ATI Remote Wonder to work. It will act as a mouse type setup but none of the functions work for stop, pause, rewind. How do I get this to work with GBpvr. I have installed the plugin for the remote but it seems to not make any differance.
I just upgraded from GBPVR 99.5 to 99.12 and when i did this i lost (Add to burn file and Burn) when i use the transcode button. Is there any way to get them back? Thanks:confused:
Alright. Unable to get my other problems solved (no autodelete utility will function for me in conjunction with priority recordings), I am trying to give the recent build of GPVR a shot with it's ability to prioritize season recordings and limit recordings to a certain number.
I select the show I want to record. In the options, I select "Record Season, all episodes this channel." I then select "keep only 5 recordings." I hit OK. The reoccurring recording now shows up in the reoccurring list, but it fails to highlight any of the episodes of the shows that I want, until about 2 weeks later, at the end of my EPG listings. Why doesn't it just immediately schedule all of the episodes, from the one I starting the season record on, to the end of my EPG listing? I thought it might pick up the show once the time comes, but it missed the recording. Am I missing something here?
Using ver 0.99.5, I accidentally hit the SUB button on playback of a dvd file and while there was no problem changing the subtitle selection to turn off, the cc (or whatever the other titles are) remain, on all dvds, after reset and reload, and after, as suggested in other posts, changing the codecs (if changing that selection in "DVD remote" is effective with no other requirements) to no effect. What am I missing?
Got a recording failed message. Scanned all the gbpvr logs to see what happened but no messages around the time of the recording. Finally worked out that because of strange data in my XML file, two programs were on at the same time on the same channel, one of which I wanted to record. I am guessing that gbpvr couldn't work out what to do and didn't record anything.
But shouldn't there be something in the logs to say why?
I am new to the whole networked GBPVR idea. Is it possible to have a desktop that functions as a server as well as a standard PVR that outputs to a tv? And, then have a laptop that will act as a client to watch tv "over the network" as it might be?
I have an ASUS TV FM Card 7135 Video Capture card, and it's not "supported." I tried following the instructions on the wiki for adding a card to the .ini files, but since it's an analog (I'm pretty sure, at least), they weren't any good. I was wondering if someone could tell me how to add it, or if it won't work, tell me that. I've attached my filter log files. Thanks
"Is this something GB-PVR users need to worry about? No. In fact, this is not a new occurrence. The change took place a long time ago. If it wasn't for the support I've received from Wellton Way, the GB-PVR project would not be here today."
I've tried switching to the TS Mux option for my recordings, but when viewing an in-progress recording the timeline shows it to be 0:00 in length and freezes during the first couple seconds of playback. I am able to exit out of playback, so it's not a hard freeze.
When the recording is complete the timeline is fine the recording plays back fine. Any suggestions? I've attached the log.
