Stand alone TV guide(set recording events w/o opening up GBPVR)
Posted by: MonkeysAteMe - 2007-03-07, 02:57 AM - Forum: Wishlist - Replies (4)

I think it would be nice to have a stand alone TV guide that you can schedule recording events on. It wouldn't take up as much memory as running all of GBPVR and it would be very useful.

Good for those of us with slow computers Big Grin .

  Serious problem with tuners
Posted by: dinki - 2007-03-07, 02:41 AM - Forum: GB-PVR Support (legacy) - Replies (4)

Something happened and now I can't watch live tv on either of my tuner cards. I can schedule a recording on one card and it records fine, but if I schedule an additional recording (simultaneously while the other card is recording) that recording fails. Even after canceling the recording that is successful I still can't watch live tv. The error I get is 'No tuner available for the channel selected.'

Any help would be greatly appreciated. I am attaching my logs. Please help! Smile

Crash when attempting to enter XGuide
Posted by: Kevl - 2007-03-06, 11:57 PM - Forum: Old Stuff (Legacy) - Replies (2)

Hi

I have been trying to get the Xrecord suite set up. I am keen to use the multiple EPG lists.

I have obviously failed to configure something correctly.

I get an "object not set to the instance of an object" type error message - when clicking on the XGuide menu button.

I attach logs which seem to indicate a problem with the guide but I dont understand what the error messages mean.

Posted by: biamont - 2007-03-06, 10:20 PM - Forum: GB-PVR Support (legacy) - Replies (5)

Dear,

After some problems with the database, I finally managed to re-install GB-PVR.
However, I've lost the channels (frequencies) for Belgium.
I remember I had a very long time to get them last time... and i did not make a backup...

If anyone has some info about this, please help me.

thank you
vincent

  Recording service crashes
Posted by: Bobins - 2007-03-06, 09:33 PM - Forum: GB-PVR Support (legacy) - Replies (66)

Updated to the latest version last week without problems but since then, the recording service has become unreliable.

I'm getting several odd errors in the event log such as:-

The GB-PVR Recording Service service terminated unexpectedly. It has done this 1 time(s). (It always says 1 time !)

.NET Runtime version 2.0.50727.42 - Fatal Execution Engine Error (7A05E2B3) (80131506)

Faulting application gbpvrrecordingservice.exe, version 1.0.2614.27227, stamp 00000009, faulting module psiparser.ax, version 0.1.0.0, stamp 45be4d97, debug? 0, fault address 0x00019ea8.

Bucket 390438569, bucket table 1, faulting application gbpvrrecordingservice.exe, version 1.0.2614.27227, stamp 00000009, faulting module psiparser.ax, version 0.1.0.0, stamp 45be4d97, debug? 0, fault address 0x00019ea8.

I can't find anything in the log files about this and the recording icon on the task bar indicates it was recording at the time. Obviously that recording was lost and any other programmed recordings failed

Any ideas?

Dual Digtial Tuners (Nova T 500) yet Recording Conflict Error
Posted by: Amused - 2007-03-06, 08:24 PM - Forum: GB-PVR Support (legacy) - Replies (5)

Hi
I've got a dual tunner Nova T 500 card but can't seem to set two shows at the same time. In the TV guide I've selected the first program and set it to record but when I try and set the second, at exactly the same time but on a diff channel, I get the "Recording Conflict, this requires canceling another show..." error.

I've set up both tuners a Capture sources, both cards have been Mapped to the channels. I'm not clear how the twin tuners thing works (it's not clear in the wiki). Do I have to select the second programme to the second tuner manually or should it do it for me. If it should auto switch the second schedule to the second tuner any ideas why I'm getting this supposed conflict?

my bad Divx converson is not depend on the tvcard !
Posted by: winkelhock - 2007-03-06, 08:20 PM - Forum: GB-PVR Support (legacy) - Replies (7)

It is somthing in the Gbpvr !
if i use my old installation of Gbpvr 96.12 and on XPpro and sp 1, framework 1.1
then i got a working file with the 150mce card but i dont know why ?

in the new installation i use XPpro sp 2 and framework 2 , Gbpvr 99.12 but i tested the 99.05 too and no diference

i used the 96.12 because it is the last version that the pvr 350 card works good with

but the newer Gbpvr 99.12 is much faster and works better in all things exept
the recorded file
