I have v1.5.2599.6174 and it's a great app, thanks for the hard work! I was thinking it would be nice to have the tuner status as a plugin, that way I can see what is recording on each tuner from within GB-PVR without having to use my PC to click on the system tray icon.
If you don't have the time, can I have the source that gets tuner status so I can write the plugin? You get credit, of course
Hi I have just installed gbpvr on a fresh reimage of a window 2000 box. It has dotnet 2.0 & MDAC 2.6 but both config.exe and gbpvr fail to start

Hi,
As the title of this post states, I can watch tv in timeshift mode fine but watching live TV not in timeshift mode it skips so much its impossible to watch. I don't know what to do. Does anyone have any suggestions? Thanks in advance.
I just tried to playback avis for the first time and had no success. I tried Overlay Manager as well as VMR7 (VMR9 does not work on my machine...). With Overlay GBPVR freezes and with VMR7 I get the message "Error: Falilure playing back file".
I have tried everything and I have read about everything about the subject, but I cannot get it to work: On Live-TV I only see snow and static.
My config:
- Hauppauge PVR150MCE
- Windows 2003 Server
- Cable-tv (Provider: UPC)
In WinTV2000 I have setup all the channels manually, by entering the Mhz's, and it is working fine.
When I go to the GB-PVR config util on the Tab: Capture Sources, I add:
"Hauppauge analog"
Direct Recording Plugin
- Hauppauge PVR150MCE
- Netherlands
- Capture Device #1
- Internal Tuner; tuning Cable
XMLTV Plugin (works)
Changer: No Channel Changer required
All Channels are enabled
The channels are listed from the XMLTV-xml file and all are enabled.
On the Channels-tab all channels are listed.
But when I start GB-PVR and select Live-TV, all the channels are just snow.
I also ran Freq2Reg, and copied the Hauppauge channels-hive to the Microsoft TV-system hive,
but with no effect.
It seems that GB-PVR doesn't pick the channels I have configured... I have read a tip that I should enter all channels in Mhz in the GB-PVR tool, but I seem to overlook the right spot...!
Can anyone help me with this problem? Thanks a lot in advance!!
(Note: I have added my logfiles )
This is an intermittent problem. When watching AVIs and trying to skip ahead the AVI will actually jump back in time. Then when I try to jump ahead it will sometimes go to where I was and sometimes go back even farther. On one show it would never go to a certain portion I was trying to access, even after jumping past it then trying to go back. I had an option of sitting through a boring part or just not watching that portion. I tried a higher bitrate of 4000 for ffmpeg but that didn't help. Is there a setting in ffmpeg that would help with this? Isn't there something like I,B, and F frames or similar for mpegs?
