Is it possible to include a keyboard combination in MusicLibrary that will allow the user to jump to the main menu of GBPVR?
I ask because I am using a Pronto as my remote and I have a special screen for MusicLibrary. When I hit the "menu" button on my remote in the other plugins, GBPVR switches to the main menu, so I have the pronto also change its screen to the menu screen.
When I hit menu in MusicLibrary, it brings up the musiclibrary menu, so my remote has changed its screen, but GBPVR is still in the musiclibrary, creating a mismatch.
I hope my request is clear, but please let me know if you need further clarification.
Not positive if this is a feature request, or if it just isn't working for me:
When playing files from my video library or from a DVD, when I move the mouse I have a progress bar at the top which shows me where I am in the file. I'd like to be able to click in that bar in order to jump large segments of time, like to watch the last 15 minutes of a movie.
Currently the only way I can get to the last 15 minutes is to continuiously hit the buttons at the bottom which skip roughly a minute at a time.
Am I missing something/have a broken install, or is this something the program doesn't (currently) do.
Bugger! I just typed a nice load of text and then pressed backspace so it's all gone!
Anyway, here's the abridged version. Product's great. I'm having a ball learning it.
I'm using a freeview hauppauge card off of crystal palace, England, london transmitter. Got all the channels dvb epg's working a treat.
A few Q's.
1: I understand the terrestrial dvb stream in native mpg. How can I record directly in this and not have that dvr-ms thang?
2: I've played with the transpose (both in videos and recordings) just with xvid so far but the aspect ration wasn't preserved. What am I doing wrong?
I've got an old Kazaa Lite Mega Codec Pack, can you point me in the right direction for a more up to date version. The MS Codec thang said I might be out of date with some bits.
Finally! What's the best format to use for transposing or is it just a case of suck it and see?
Worked fine until yesterday. Now I get an error when selecting any form of "Live TV".
Error message:
"Object reference not set to an instance of an object"
- "Live TV" gets this error. Going through the "TV Guide" and trying to play a channel has the same resulting error.
- FM Radio used to work... But doesn't now. No error though... it just doesn't play anything.
- I can play pre-recorded stuff, DVD's, Videos, Music, etc...
- EPG works fine... (except for the whole "watching the channel" part)
- There are no IRQ conflicts. Device manager seems to be in order.
- The device shows up fine in GBPVR config.
- I recently installed a Sound Blaster Audigy... but everything has worked since then (3 days ago) up to yesterday.
- Been playing with parallelprocessing.bat and comskip, but thats about it.
Seems to be isolated to the TV tuner card and/or GBPVR suddenly.
Single tuner, ATI Theater 550 Pro card (VisionTek Xtasy Theater 550 Pro) in this box.
The tuner card could have gone bad, thats what it seems like anyway at this point... but I won't make that determination until further testing is done.
Any ideas?
PS - If someone asks for a .log file upload... please specify exactly what file you need.
gbpvr crashes onload, config utility bombs out with a .net error unhandled exception.
this is a fresh install of windows xp home, with dotnet framework and gbvr installed along with tv card software and updates from microsoft error contents below.
after the exception the utility form loads, but no values are in any of the form controls, list boxes etc.
See the end of this message for details on invoking
just-in-time (JIT) debugging instead of this dialog box.

There doesn't seem to be a wiki page, all requests since 1/06 on the board seem to go unanswered by the author...is this a supported plugin or not?
I get a crash anytime I try to remove a webcam (The London webcam and the Douglas Seaport web cams haven't changed since January...gee guess they're not actual cams aft6er all ) but from the post history I get the impression that asking for support is going to be an exercise in futility....too bad 'cause I love this plugin. I run it with streaming music in the background when I have people over and they go nuts; "COOL! How do you do that with your TV?!?"
Any thoughts? Anyone? (Bueller? Bueller??)
Maybe it's time to move this into the unsupported category or do a update/new plugin.
Currently, I go to music library, shuffle, play all then I go to photo library to start the slide show. I wonder if music can play randomly in the background when the slide show starts. Thanks.
