When I try to delete a list of program episodes, after 2 or three deletes the epiosode folder disappers from VA. I can only get it back by restarting GBPVR.
This happens again when I try deleteing more episodes.
Any ideas whats going on?
I have tested the feature GetTrailers. It says it is possible to download trailers from Apples website.
But I cant get it work.
I can see in netstat -a that I have a connection with apple.com, but nothing downloaded.
Must I maybe open a port in my firewall?
hen I schedule a recording with gb-pvr, my pc is not waking up from standby. The thing is, is it used to, so my guess is it's nothing to do with gb-pvr, but something else. Any ideas on what it could be? Or where I should start to look?
I've just installed an ATI TV Wonder 650 and I've been using an ATI 550 Pro. I want to use the 650 for HDTV and the 550 for Cable. So far I can only get the the 650 to work.
I'm not going to go into the nightmare that I've had with the install (just a simple update!!) of CA Internet Security Suite 2007. Particularly the firewall portion.
Suffice to say over the last three weeks, I've spent well over 20 hours trying to get their firewall to install and work properly by going anywhere between a non-bootable (except in safe mode) PC to a PC with no functioning firewall. Most recently, last night, they sent me a procedure to try which finally got the firewall installed and working but to my horror, the firewall caused GBPVR to not work and basically hung my PC again. After several more hours this morning, I've been able to uninstall most of the security suite and get GBPVR working again. In fact for some reason, my GBPVR directory became massively corrupted during all this and this morning, I had to restore GBPVR from a backup.
Bottom line GBPVR and their firewall (currently) are not compatible.
Sub, are you interested in doing anything regarding this? I have some extra licenses for CA Internet Security Suite 2007 if you'd like to try it out and find out why GBPVR won't work with it?
As many of the people on this forum are video gurus, I thought it was worth asking if anyone has come across a way of transcoding to AMV (thats the format used by Mpx devices) I know of the AMVConvert program and thats it, I would be interested of anything else that can output to this format.
The default music library doesn't show what file is being played. I know that music libary 2 does show it, but I like to be able to use file mode playing in stead of using a database for my music files. So the default music library is perfect for me, but it's just missing this one small thing.
I love the newer volume feature. Is it possible to change how the volume increments? I think pressing it something like 5 or 6 times takes it from 0 to 100%... Is there a way to manually make it so that when I press up or down it goes by small increments?
I am seeing the following error in the Windows Event Viewer almost every night right at midnight. My MVP drops its connection and spins while DW20.exe runs to collect the crash information
Picked up a NTSC/ATSC HDTV hybrid tv card. Verified as working in the software that came with her (TotalMedia3). Her chipset is Auvitek AU8501 and I am going up the wall trying to get this card to work in gbpvr. I've tried playing with the .ini files (Graphedit) etc. and I'm going to have an ale or 6 to calm down on this one:mad: . Strangely enough, BeyondTV can find it. Just can't play it. Think I just bought a nice coaster or can this puppy work?
