Hello. I'm trying to register a later Cyberlink Mux however permission is denied.
Read the Wiki entry and think that I'm going about this correctly. Copied MpgMux.ax into c:\windows\system32 un-registered existing Cyberlink Mux, ensured that no other programs are running but permission to paste later Cyberlink Mux is denied. Where am I going wrong?.
Downloaded and installed Cyberlink Mux VERSION: 5.0.2022 from Animation Technologies Inc. The download (for one of their DVB-T Receivers) registers Cyberlink Mux however am not using one of their DVB-T Receivers therefore want to un-install the drivers that were downloaded. Guess that un-installing will unregister Cyberlink Mux VERSION: 5.0.2022 however am not 100% sure. Can anyone confirm this please?.
The main reason I have built the PVR is to one start viewing a recording say 10min after start. This doesn't seam to work all. Hangs up the computer and when it finally plays I get a few seconds of the show and then it stops. Only to start for a few more seconds. I can't exit the show ether. I did apply the patch and it still doesn't work. I can't even stop the recording. I've tried to stop the service and it will still show recording when I check the status. It's like once you start your stuck with it until the end. Any thing I've missed?
Sure wish there was a way to export a recording schedule, and then when I do a fresh install, I can just import my schedule.
At least a way to print it out...
When I looked at the database when it was still in Access, I thought the only dependecie for that would be that the recording source would have the same value between new and old installs.
Perhaps there's a way to import the schedule after verifying if the Sources match up...
Does anyone know whether or not the volume buttons on a Media MVP Remote Control are supported using GB-PVR as they do not seem to be doing anything other than causing the occasional reboot of MVP.
Somehow my ContourHC skin stopped working. I thought something got accidently deleted or moved, so I tried re-installing it and doing a repair install for GBPVR but I'm still getting the same error. When I click on the Video Library button I get a pop-up saying "Error: Could not find part of the path 'C:\Program Files\devnz\gbpvr\skin\ContourHC\_CoreImages\ListView.png'". Any ideas?
Does anyone know whether or not there are any hardware tweeks that can be made to a Hauppauge Media MVP (wired version)?. The reason why I ask this is because I've finally managed to get my GB-PVR PC to work in conjunction with a Media MVP & Viewsonic N3000W and in all honesty video playback is disappointing. Audio is good however the picture quality is not good (is pixelated, grainy and colours seem to blend into one another).
Perhaps using an oxygen free gold-plated connector SCART lead would help improve picture quality?. I'm not sure.
My gbpvr is set to record a bunch of shows through out the day. The timers are all set, the pending recording section shows they are sheduled , the item is highlighted red in the guide, and it creates the folder for the show on my hard drive. The only problem is, no video file can be found. I believe i must have fiddle with a setting but can't figure it out. The only thing that happened was that my zap2it needed to be renewed, which i did....and thats when i started going through settings, looking at what they were , seeing if i was missing anything. well...now i'm missing everything...lol. Any ideas?
