ATI released a new driver today, supposedly it fixes an issue which caused choppy dvd playback with powerDVD, I will have to do some looking to see if it will fix the little choppyness issues I have been having since I switched my card to a 9600, and switched MPEG2 codec to Cyberlink PDVD7
place archive.bat in gbpvr\third party\ dir and adjust profile in config.xml to reflect your needs.. i'll probably make an installer soon..will make a nice n simple conflict-free archiving solution...
[so you can use multiple drives to store files and offload main rec drive seamlessly!]
I just upgraded to v98.13, or I should say tried to upgrade because I can't run the config application.
It gives me an error "unable to load plugins provider not in connectionstring"
When saving I get the error lited below.
After several tries I am able to watch live tv however since the directories remains the default (and i have no space on c:\ ) it is more or less useless without running config.
I wouldn't mind going back to the old version but I have not been able to locate it.
Any help would be appreciated.

I invite the strong and the sturdy to beta test my newest version of ZProcess!
This closed, sticky thread will detail the download, installation, new features, and usage notes for this new beta. I intend to add, delete, and edit these notes and when finished, update my wiki page.
These notes should be considered to supercede the wiki for right now...
What's new? Well, I've made use of MEncoder to do a lot of transcoding. For AVI to MPG, it's so much faster, that it transcodes in about half the time on my test machines. This addresses the whole 'GB-PVR eats faster thatn ZProcess can cook' cause for crashes...
You will be able to select a preferred transcoder for each of the ZProcess Transcode profiles. (MEncoder is the best for the 'trans2mvp' profile...)
But the most exciting new feature is the ability to correct picture, hue, saturation, brightness and even individual gamma for Red, Green and Blue...
But I caution you... if you do not feel comfortable using brand new, possibly rough around the edges, poorly documented software, hang back and wait for ZProcess to finish with its growing pains...
As always, thanks for your input, comments, (even complaints) and mostly your patience...
I've been having issues with using the NVidia Pure Video decoders - sometimes the playback or sound stutters, and CPU percentage seems too high. CPU usage is noticably lower with Nero's decoder, even though DxHA is disabled with it.
I finally decided to do a bit more digging, and I've found that if I open an MPG with GraphEdit and play it, CPU usage is much lower than if I open the last_graph.grf file that GB-PVR creates and play it. The graphs are decidedly different, and I'm wondering if there's anything that can be done about it. Is it an issue with my config or is this just how it has to be?
Here's the GB-PVR graph and perfmon results, along with the default graph and perfmon results. In both instances I was watching the movie Bewitched, starting it at the beginning:
I keep getting a SQlite error when I try to config gbpvr. I read in an earlier post the way to fix is to:
Copy the empty.db3 file to gbpvr.db3, overwritting any file you already have with this name.
My question is how do I copy the file? When I right click and copy the empty.db3 file how do I paste or open the gbpvr.db3 file to insert the copy of empty.db3?
Guide, select show, start watching, stop watching (either "back" or "Stop"), you're back in guide where you were before. It make sence (like a stuck of actions or screens).
However, Guide, select show, select "find similar", then "back" - and you're back in main menu, lost guide position.
