I'm really sorry if this has been asked before but I'm trying my best to figure it out and I've searched where I could possibly search... hopefully I didn't miss it.
Anyway.. What is happening is at first GB PVR installed with tons of errors. When I went to start it, it stated something about NET Framework. So I went ahead and downloaded & installed a copy of that. When I installed version 2.0, I was able to get into the program but whenever I went to do anythign I would get thrown errors. (Below is an example of such errors). Afterwards, I went searching and saw you guys used 1.1 (or it appeared) so I tried to download it. IN between downloading the .NET Framework versions I had reinstalled GB PVR without any errors this time.
SYSTEM SPECS:
GB PVR 98.8 ?
WinXP Home
SP2
A common error I get is something like this... (This one is receieved when going into the GB PVR Config)

Everything was working fine until i went to the latest version. Now when i set something to record it just doesnt record it.
Ot goes red in the guide and a folder is created in the recordings folder with the name of the program but nothing gets in the folder.
If i go back to the guide its no longer red.
The sound is falling behind when I watch TV and when I record, It´s behind like 2-3 sek at the most. Is there anything I can do?
And the second problem is that when I watch TV and the camera or an object (for example a tennisball) moves fast it goes "hacky" and it´s har du see the ball.. any clues about that?
Im using the latest version of Gbpvr and I have Hapanauge 150MCE. The computer is an P4 1,5Ghz with 512 RAM and the graphics card is an Rage Pro Ultra GL AGP.
Ok guys, Need some advice here. I currently have two PC's running GBPVR. One has a PVR-250, the other a PVR150 (non-mce). I am thinking about adding a PVR-500 to the pc that currently has the 150. I am pretty sure that I can only get the 500 in MCE version. I know I wouldn't HAVE to go to Windows XP MCE but would that be better than staying on XP Pro? What would be the benefits and drawbacks, if any, of moving to MCE? What about remote issues with a non-MCE 150 and an MCE 500 in the same box? I don't have a STB, just straight cable but I am sure sooner or later the cable co will make all of us go to digital cable so I want to make sure whatever way I go that I am not setting myself up for problems down the road. All input welcome, Thanks!
My daily EPG update appears to be failing every day. I'm running 98.8b, and have converted the DB. I was pulling 12 days of data, but dropped that to 7 now and it's still failing. Here's a snippet from my GBPVRRecordingService.exe.log file:

I was downloading Windows Server Update Service for work and this was on the very bottom of the Microsoft page. I saw it, laughed and knew that I had to post a screen shot.
.Net 2.0 rocks... but this error seems to crop up in many more places than just GB-PVR... That being said... it has been WEEKS since I have seen one on my machine!
I'm new to PVR, and obviously GB-PVR, but I have managed to get it installed and working with relative ease. However, I can't seem to get the renamerecording function to work. I would prefer addepisode based on the Wiki page, but the download link isn't working. Is there a better or prefered method for renaming files that I am not seeing?
hey, last week my recordings were using about 1.75gb /hr of video. Now this week they are using about 2.75gb /hr show... the only things i changed on my system were the installation of new divx codecs & window media player 11 beta 2 (from beta 1) ... i haven't changed any setups in the config. any ideas on how to get this back to normal??? im planning on getting an external hard drive to have all the shows i got that i will keep any ideas on a good model???? and is it ok to record directly to the External drive or should i record to my internal drive & transfer them over after?
I've noticed in some screens shots under the 'Recordings' menu, the recorded shows are shown as graphic icons(similar to a DVD cover) instead of as a list. Is this a setting you can change in the default "Blue" skin? Or would I need to change to a different skin to accomplish this?
