There are two things about the web app that I would like to suggest:

1) If I am watching live TV, how do I begin recording what I'm watching? In V4, ctl-K produced a dialog only if there was no guide info for what I was being watched. I have found nothing in the Wiki.

2) Can a "busy" gif(?) be shown while the system gathers channel information while hovering at the right-edge of the live TV display?

Morning all.

I’m a new NextPVR user. Everything has been setup for a few days and running nicely. I’m running the server on a Mac mini, with EyeTV Netstream 4sat as the tuner.

So my issue are: 

1. I’m unable to select an audio stream when playing live tv or a recording on Apple TV. Defaults to track 1. In the UK, this seems to be for the audio narrative stream or [nar] when there are multiple channels.

2. Can I choose a default audio stream when recording a programme?

Newbie here.  I'm installing KODI and NextPVR on my HTPC to replace Windows Media Center before I "upgrade" to Windows 10 and lose media center.  NextPVR finds my Hauppauge 2250 card with no problems.  It doesn't seem to find my Cat's Eye 164e at all.  I can't find a BDA driver for the Cat's Eye.  Unfortunately, the Cat's Eye will pick up one weak channel the the 2250 won't receive.  It just happens to be a channel that we watch a lot.  Can anyone tell me if it is possible to use the Cat's Eye 164e with NextPVR, and if so, what I need to do to use it?  I found a post from 2006 where Dave47 wrote a dba.ini file to do this, but I have no idea where to put the information in order to use it.

i am having the problem again, that the EPG does not work at night.

The tuners only report an error tuning to the channels to get the EPG data.

I have seen, that you removed an option in 5.0.7 for "restarting" the tuners afters standby, wich solved my problem time ago.

So now my Digital Devices DVB-C tuner card, does not work with the automatic EPG update.

Can we find a solution for this? Perhaps it would be nice, if the setting, that solved the problem for me, is a selectable option in the settings page, so everyone can switch it on or off, like it is better for each person?

I attached the logs, Tuner-8 tries the update, and fails at night.

Has any done a install of NextPVR on a iMac running OS Catalina that works that and can tell me what you did set by set please?

When trying to start live tv, I'm getting and unhandled exemption error.  Nextpvr will just hang after I hit continue.  Live tv working fine in the hdhomerun app.  Updated to latest version but still happening.  Logs attached.

Does this feature no longer exist in version 5.x? I recorded 4 channels on the same multiplex but, 4 tuners were used instead of 1.
Is their a setting in the config file I should change?

I'm new to NextPVR, just transitioning from Windows Media Center. I've been  trying to work through setup challenges, but have hit a brick wall. The EPG is updating and OTA channels are set, I've installed the LAV codecs and my USB tuner (WinTV HVR-950)  is seen. But, clicking on programs from the Guide to watch live, and attempting to schedule record a show are failing. In particular the live watching fails with the "Streaming failed. (Transcoder exited.)" error message. Logs are attached. Thanks for any suggestions for things I can try.

Stopcode blue screen when NextPVR Service is running - it suddenly was happening every reboot, while trying to record something. It's not recording now, so the issue is not happening. I suppose it could be one of my tuners is going bad, but remains to be seen. I wonder if someone could help me verify it - the logs I know of are attached. I couldn't get a picture of the screen, as it goes away too quickly. Some info is:
"page fault in non-paged area" and something about emOEM64.sys. I couldn't find any answers online about it. All I know is when a recording was scheduled and active (trying to record, or recording), it was blue screening and rebooting. When I stopped the NextPVR Service, the issue disappeared. Now it seems not to happen because it's not trying to record. Would appreciate some help, tks. OS is Win10, tuners Kworld ATSC UB435-Q V2 on a Dell Optiplex 755.

NPVR Writes A New Folder Of The Same Name As Existing

After getting my v.5 restarted with newest update, I had a recording earlier this morning, and couldn't find it in my folder I told it to save the recording to. But after a few clicks, I noticed that suddenly another folder appeared with the same folder name, and the file was there. Sorry I don't have a pic to prove it, as I've already deleted the original folder.

1. If I put a "\" after the folder name in settings, does this cause a problem?

2. If not, what can cause this issue?

I'm using MS Edge for access, and OS is Win10.
