desktop app read the video without any freeze when web app freezes for few second several time when playing the video.
video is fine and play without hang also with other player
When using the KNEWC UI Client, most (though not all) of the time the video plays behind/under/in the background of the UI Client so I need to exit the UI Client to see the video. Is anyone else having this issue? Any suggestions to fix it?
Update with version details: - Kodi Leia - LibreELEC - NextPVR Server 5.0.4.200428 - Raspberry Pi 2b - knewc 2.8.0
Since upgrading to 5.0.4 I can no longer receive synchronised audio/video from my HDHomeRun Duo.
Before the update the image was rock solid, so much so I'd forget I was watching on PC and think I was watching on 4K TV.
I'm currently using LAV Codecs which use 80% of Video Hardware Resources on Live Playback but even so I loose synchronisation. The Microsoft Codecs are no longer usable as image freezes and then double times to catchup.
I've attached attached Logs and details of my PC. Hope they can be of some help.
DCR-3250. all three devices appear. when I scan any one, I get a list of all 588 channels in device. there is no button for a seemly exit, so I hit the upper right hand corner 'X' and return to the devices page. shows no channels. Am I doing something wrong?
After our previous posts (1 second recordings) i decided to completely uninstall Windows Media Center and NPVR and start over. I removed WMC because it did not see my tuners. I went to the NPVR download page to get a new installer, although after downloading it, I saw it was the same as the first one. After installing, I went to the devices page, with the results as above.
Well - I've got V5 installed and running, set Schedules Direct as my EPG provider, and have the channels imported for my first STB. I have to delete a LOT of channels - partly because I don't use a lot of them, and partly because there are SD and HD channels with the same number. Once I get this STB set up, I'll do the second.
Couple of questions, though, regarding changing channels that I can't find (or have missed...) in the Wiki...
First - can I jump directly to a channel by entering its number? Looking at the Wiki, it seems like that can only be done in the PIP window.
Second, and a follow-up to the first... - many of the channels on one STB will have numbers identical to the other STB. Reading the Wiki, I can group them according to box, but if I can jump from one channel to another by entering its number, is NPVR capable of discerning one from the other, or will it ask which device I want to use? Alternatively, in a situation like that, would I be forced to select from the EPG in order to get the correct device and channel?
Finally - can I add channels manually, even when using an EPG provider? I ask because my Lobby Watch camera comes in through my cable STB, and likely won't be listed on the Schedules Direct EPG.
Hello,
I've noticed that NPVR has set a waketimer for 01/01/1000:
Code:
PS C:\Windows\system32> powercfg /waketimers
Timer set by [PROCESS] \Device\HarddiskVolume4\Program Files\NextPVR\NextPVRServer.exe expires at 00:59:59 on 01/01/10000.
Timer set by [PROCESS] \Device\HarddiskVolume4\Program Files\NextPVR\NextPVRServer.exe expires at 22:27:30 on 05/05/2020.
Timer set by [SERVICE] \Device\HarddiskVolume4\Windows\System32\svchost.exe (SystemEventsBroker) expires at 06:48:15 on 19/05/2020.
Reason: Windows will execute 'NT TASK\Microsoft\Windows\UpdateOrchestrator\Backup Scan' scheduled task that requested waking the computer.
I know it probably does not matter, but is there a way to delete this waketimer? Or does it serve a purpose?
(the second NPVR waketimer is one that is there because I scheduled a recording)
Is it possible to change the skin for the KNEWC UI Client? I created a custom skin a few years ago for the NextPVR Windows desktop app that I'd like to now use with my new Kodi/KNEWC setup.
