Request for enhancement: Four-digit channel numbers

Would be nice for GBPVR to support 4-digit channel numbers. I have DirecTV programming that uses four-digit channels like 2345, but GBPVR truncates them to three digits, like 234.

Think I read somewhere that unless I use XP MCE or apply a special 'patch' I can't use two dvb tuners in the same program ie gbpvr. I'm looking at using a nova-t and nova-s together. Can anyone say if this is possible/impossible? Thanks

I've recently installed GBPVR, and must say I like it better than Windows Media Center. However, I've got a rather annoying problem. Whenever I return from playing a video selected from the Video Library screen, the GBPVR window is black. I have to come out of full-screen mode and restart the GBPVR application to continue using it (or kill it via Task Manager). Anyone have thoughts about how to solve this?

I am using the number keypad on my keyboard to type in the channel that I want GBPVR to change to, and it works fine for up to 3-digit channels. GBPVR seems to accept a maximum of 3 digits only for the channel number. I have 4-digit channels with my DirecTV programming, and when I type 2345, GBPVR only recognizes 234 and loses the 5.

Is there some configuration that can make GBPVR recognize four-digit channel numbers?

This is the first time I am setting up a PVR. I can get GBPVR to play live TV on my computer, but there is NO audio. I am attaching the GBPVR.exe.log and GBPVR.exe-native.log files. Here is an excerpt from GBPVR.exe-native.log file:

The computer audio itself seems fine, because I can play live TV with good audio using the WinDVR software that came with the Adaptec Videoh! Media Center USB 2.0 tuner card. Initially, I did not even have WinDVR installed, and even then GBPVR did not play audio. I am also able to use GBPVR to play pre-recorded MPEG2 video files just fine with good audio.

I left the option for audio decoder/renderer in GBPVR Config program to be System Default.

Any assistance appreciated.

I am having a problem watching recorded programs. I can watch live programs ok and can rewind, fast forward and pause the live stuff fine, but when I try to view a recorded program, it just goes blank for a second then back to the menu. Any ideas on what the problem is?

Does anyone know if there is anything that will allow me to schedule programs to record from another pc on my network, I'd like to be able to access something like the tv schedule and browse it to set up recording.

I would like to use my MCE remote control with GB-PVR.
Do I need Girder for this?
If so, how do I configure it?
If not, what settings do I need to make in GBPVR?

Just recently installed a second MVP. Both are running hardwired thru a switch.

When viewing liveTV there is an occasional jerkyness in the picture. Opened up taskmanager and noticed CPU usage was jumping to 45/50%. It appears that GPBVR is sending out a ping consistantly to the MVP's which is causing my CPU usage to jump - thus causing the LiveTV picture to jerk. Jerkyness also shows in TV recordings.
Is this normal for GBPVR/MVP???

Additionally one of the MVP cables is a crossover the other is not coming out of the switch.

Radeon7000 AGP
