First I'd like to say, Bravo, to the developer's of GB-PVR. This is a very nice program and fairly easy to use. I just recently got a tv tuner card ( yea i now know i should have stayed away from the ati wonder pro, heh) Anyway after 2 days of "fussing" with it, i got it working with live tv, recording and several of the wonderful plugins.

My problem/question is this, I can't tune to channel 5 (NBC)(frequency 77.25) with the ATI software, or Zap2it's downloads from GB-PVR's software. I do have Chris TV on this system as well, and it is the only one that recognizes channel 5 as NBC. ATI ignores channel 5 completely and Zap2it thinks channel 5 is WMAQ (which is channel 5 in a totally different cable system but the video is channel 19 (TLC)(frequency 151.25).

I have chosen the correct cable system and lineups for the various programs. After a lot of reading/surfing for a fix, I am inclined to just edit the channel list .ini or whatever the file is saved as. However, I cannot locate where ATI or GB-PVR stores their channel information/frequencys on my system or what program i would need to open/view them. Anyone know of anything i can do to fix this?

ps. If i choose the other available lineups for my zip code in zap2it it messes up 95 percent of my channels instead of just the 1, and the same with ATI if i choose antenna I get the correct channel 5 but I lose like 30 other channels.

Ive been trying to figure out how to play DVDs through GBPVR and my PVR350 TV out. I have searched around the forums, and Ive read alot of people saying its just not possible. On the other hand, most of the posts I read were atleast a year old, so Im wondering if things have changed. Ive read a little about xdvd, and installed it, but obviously it's not working. Are there settings I can change to make it work for the 350, or is it exclusive for the MVP?

For season recordings, it would be nice to have an option in config that lets you choose if you want to default to sorting "newest to oldest" or "oldest to newest".

I typically use "what's new", but all the other shows are mixed in there as well.

Also one other wish.. If you delete a program out of your season recodings (ie failed recordings), it keeps taking you back to the top of the list. Would be nice if it kept you in place without having to scroll all the way through the list again.

Id like to see a manual record option that instead of time you can just choose a specific amount of time and it begins recording right away.I would like this option due to i would like to convert some vhs tapes that i own.Or i would like to see time where its not military...kinda annoying to me.

Nothing major, but I have a few small MVP annoyances. Maybe this has already been addressed:

1. The MVP goes into its' screen saver and you decide to power off. When you power back on, your back in the screen saver but the remote control doesn't do anything. Pressing any key (other than power), makes the GBPVR logo jump around, but that's about it. Powering off and on via the remote seems to bring it back to the menu and it starts working again.

2. Warm starting the power (via remote) bring you to the main menu, but I've seen that the first keypress is normally ignored.

3. Any way to type in the "search" on the MVP remote? I have the option for the remote to act like a mobile phone entry, but that doesn't seem to work. How (or do you) type in "search" for the MVP remote?

I've been running a Compro DVB-T 200 in my system for a while now (great card considering the price) and i've always wondered if there might be a way to use the FM Radio side of this card in GBPVR?

I enabled them under plugins... THe skin folder has directorys for them...so they have skins to use... I put mydatabase.mdb in the root directory... I didnt install all those apps for my videos though...just because i dont want to rip dvds...

Any ideas?
