Hi folks, im on the verge of purchasing a Hauppauge HVR 1300 which i understand will work both with GBPVR and windows MCE

What i am also looking for is a digital satelitte tuner card that will work with both - MCE supports dual tuners, any recommendations?

I have a Nova-T which I use to capture freeview in the UK and it works a dream. I also have NTL digital via a set top box and have been given a PVR-150MCE . I'm trying to install it to capture the NTL service and now have it working in WinTV.

However when I try to add a second capture source in GBPVR I get an error message as follows

First, I realize it’s not a HD projector but watching the big game just blown up to 76” aint gunna cut it this year. I was considering a Samsung sir-t451. But at $250 new or $150 referb it’s tough to swallow. Many of the people fleebaying their 451’s built HTPC’s and are retiring their 451’s. After looking at the Divco Fusion HDTV5 I’d like to do give it a try. I have an AMD 2.8ghz 750mb ram with and old Nvidia w/Svideo out. So all I have to do is get a Divco Fusion and graphics card with DVI out? Sounds too simple!

Is there any way to control the Outputstream of gbpvr to the MVP?
I´m trying to increase the picture quality because i have a lot of artifacts playing back my dvb-s recordings via the mvp.
I changed settings in the config.xml and also tryed to change the settings for
transcoding. But i don´t see any differences:eek:
How can i control what kind of transcoding is in Use?
Task manager gives me no information during playback.
Color / Saturation and brighness seems to be ok on my D3 rev runnig on S-Video
connection! But picture looks like a VCD grrrrrrr.
Plse help me out (i´m running out of money- i don´t want to tell my girlfriend how much i spent on this machine and still get no satisfying result -she´ll kill me)

I have GBPVR installed on a second computer, connected with a Belkin router. What I would like to do is use web admin from my main computer to set up recordings on my other machine. Is there a way that I can do this? Thanks.

My television doesn't have an svideo input so in order to get gbpvr to display on my TV I need to use RCA. I bough a small svideo to rca converter from Radio Shack that does the trick. But unfortunalty this converter causes interference on the lower channels of my cable tv (when watching tv normally). Has anyones else had this problem, and have you been able to overcome it?

Yesterday, I picked up a Hauppauge PVR-150MCE from a local store.
The drivers on the CD didn't work, so I found some on the hauppauge.com website.

Anyway, I installed the card in a PCI Slot and well, I dont get any sound... from any application using the Video Capture Card. Am I meant to plug something into my sound card? :confused:

I also installed GB-PVR and configured it according so to the wiki, and whenever I try to view Live TV it spits out the error message "Failed to located capture device", Radio "Unable to locate FM Tuner".

Heres the system specs if it'd help
- AMD Duron 950mhz
- 521mb RAM
- Windows XP Home SP2

I like the shutdown plugin, but can't seem to make it appear as a menu item on the MVP. I've checked the settings box for showing on the MVP, but it still doesn't show. Any ideas of where I should look?

Newbie here and looking for what seems to be some easy help...

First question: I have a PVR 150 with the remote. The remote works in GBPVR but only with the channel up/down. Is this a known issue or can I adjust some config setting to get other buttons to work as well.

Second question: I have only been able to change the channel one at a time (OSD or remote). Is there a way to change to a specific channel?
