Hi!

When I select "Recordings" from main menu, I suffer a delay between 7 and 12 seconds before the Recordings screen display.

Last time, people told me to defragment my disk. I done this and still getting this annoying delay.

I think problem occured in this part, from my log:

What can I do to fix this ?

Hi Guys,

when I install my pvr500 into my pundit r, using the same numbers for both tuners, everything works fine, except that I can not record 2 shows at the same time and I can not watch live tv and record at the same time.

When I switch the pvr500 1 tuner to capture device 1 and the pvr 500 2 tuner to capture device 2 it freezes the pc as soon as I record the first show. CPU usage boosts up to 100%

Btw, I have switched the capture device numbers by deleting and reinstalling the tuners.

Does anyone have any ideas?

Have just got my MVP and set it up using GBPVR. Had a few teething troubles, but seems to be working well now.

One thing I would like to be able to do is change the Aspect Ratio on the MVP when playing video. The MVP outputs full screen, which is fine for widescreen TV, but it would be nice to be able to change it to 4:3 for other TV, or very widescreen for movies etc.

From the keyboard page on the wiki(http://gbpvr.com/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Quick...Reference), I have found that I can do this by pressing F7 when using GBPVR on the PC, but can't see how to do this on the MVP.

Any assitance gratefully received.

I've been using GBPVR for over a year (via my PVR-150 card) and find it to be a great product. About a month ago, I found that the EPG stopped updating automatically (it seems that a number of users have posted various issues with Zap2it recently). I verified the correctness of my Zap2it labs settings (both at the Zap2it labs site and on the EPG source section of the config tool; recording source is set to direct recording plugin) in the config tool and and confirmed that the account was active, and even setting up a new account, then setting number of days to update tothe minimum, but none of these efforts solved nothing. Next, I uninstalled GBPVR and did a complete reinstall; however, when configuring, I'd consistently get a message "Your EPG source does not appear to be configured correctly", and when I attempt to exit the config tooll by pressing "ok", it hangs up.

I'm a relative noob when it comes to this and don't dismiss the possibility that I'm doing something incorrectly, but the fact that this problem surfaced suddenly when it has previously worked without issue is odd.

This is my first post here so go lightly.

A year ago I bought a AOPEN XCUBE for the lounge room with the intent of making it a multimedia centre. Well It hasnt happened thus far but Im now looking to fulfull the dream. This software looks like what Im after but before I make the plunge I have a number of concerns. Well see, I havent bought a TV tuner, yet, only because im finding it difficult to wade through the info on the net. As you can see from my sig, im in Brisbane Australia and after reading several posts im a little concerned that there might not be a freely available EPG. Cause im certainly not paying ICETV 3$ a week for a service i can get from http://www.yourtv.com.au for free.

So if theres anyone out there who is local and has any advice i would be ever so gratefull, on tips for a decent card and if EPG is available , freely in Bris, to get the most oout of this app.

Just a small glitch, but has anyone else noticed problems with channel logos not appearing for channels that have an apostrophe in their name?

I've got all of mine to map fine, apart from one called "UKTV Br'tIdeas" - the accompanying GIF is named "UKTV Br'tIdeas.gif".

ive tried to install the software on a desktop that has the mce software installed

it works like a dream on my laptop which has the xp home edition but each time i try to configure gbpvr on the mce desktop it states that it cant find the capture card am i wasting my time attmepting to do so ?

I have a hauppage pvr150-mce on my windows xp pro with mvp frontend. Wanting to do 3 things.

1) Want to be able to run a script to change the gbpvr to the mediamvp software using a custom task/plugin etc. I can create a .bat or .vbs file but an .exe is required for custom tasks and not sure how to compile these to an .exe?

2) Trying to find software that will allow to use the tv-in part of the hauppage pvr-150 to record shows I have on digital cable. Prefarably free or cheap?

3) Trying to find software to be able to watch tv shows live on my pc versus only on my tv not including the hauppage software and preferrably free or cheap?

All in put would be greatly appreciated and thanks for all the work that has been put into this wonderful piece of software

first off all I want to say that gbpvr is a great programm,but I have still two problems to solve before I can really enjoy it :
1.when I'm starting the epg on the channels, it's running and scanning fine, but after a while it's hanging (gbpvr no response -task manager applications-), and my cpu usage (pc amd 2600+ 1g ram) is @ 100 % (i'm using an tv card twinhan dvb-s on the hauppauge mediamvp).
2. when I'm starting playing an avi file it stops after 1 minutes!
could someone give me an little help on this please!
