Finally I've set up all channells on my Hauppauge HVR-1300 and HVR-1100 cards.
Both card have two tuner sections inside one analog and one digital that can't be used at the same time. The main difference between the two is that HVR-1300 has a H/W MPEG encoder that HVR-1100 hasn't.
I've set up the analog tuner as Hauppauge Roslyn (even if HVR-11000 wont work with this setting), the digital tuner as HVR NOVA-T (working on both sides).
Tuners settings are:
- three channels on analogue part of HVR-1300;
- five channels (same channels) on both digitals tuner of HVR-1300 and HVR-1100;
- none on analog tuner of HVR-1100.
First minor issue: settings roslyn for Italy doesn't scan all 69 channels, must be set for Germany.
Main issue is that GBPVR considers the two cards as four tuners. In fact if I try to program three overlapped recordings I can. Obvoiusly only two of them will be recorded properly.
When I click on the Music plugin in GB-PVR, I get a list of the music folders. When I drill down through the lists and get to where the files are, I immediately get "Index was out of range". I've attached a screenshot.
From the error, it looks like the array index isn't valid. I assume that's how the file lists are loaded.
The directory structure is like this: Artist\Album
The tracks are under the album directory. This is located on a server in another. It is mapped to a drive letter though.
I'm running v. 94.13 which includes a file named "XVid MPEG-4 Codec". Do I need anything else in the GBPVR directory to do the autoconvert to XVid?
Second question; when I check the"Autoconvert to XVid MPEG-4" in config, will it convert all the files in my Recordings file, or is there a way to point it to a specific video file?
I downloaded The Collection and just installed the Appearance Manager (probably a bad idea), and now GBPVR won't start. I removed the plugin, and it still won't start up.
I don't know much about plugins, but is there any way the plugin could have changed something in GBPVR itself while it was installed? Any idea how to fix it?
I guess I'll make a backup of the GBPVR folder and start over again for now...
Is there (or is there planned to be) support within gbpvr for generic capture devices?
I have a Pinnacle analog capture card for editing video and currently i use a normal freeview box to plugged into it and i 'open' the device in media player classic - and i can view the input, is there any way i can do this within gbpvr as i would like record/live pause facilities etc
