first off all I want to say that gbpvr is a great programm, but I have still two problems to solve before I can really enjoy it :
1.when I'm starting the epg on the channels, it's running and scanning fine, but after a while it's hanging (gbpvr no response -task manager applications-), and my cpu usage (pc amd 2600+ 1g ram) is @ 100 % (i'm using an tv card twinhan dvb-s on the hauppauge mediamvp).
2. when I'm starting playing an avi file it stops after 1 minutes!
could someone give me an little help on this please!
thanks in advance!

zip and attach your config.exe.log and I'll take a look.

What CPU has your machine got? This usually means your machine cant transcode the avi file to MPEG for the MVP in the required 'faster than realtime'. This makes the playback position of the file catch up to the transcoding point of the file, which looks like the end of the file.

hi
when I start scanning epg the cpu works between 10 and 20 %, and comming at the end of my channel scan, the cpu is at 98 % and stays all the time at this level.

CPU Typ
AMD Sempron, 1600 MHz (8 x 200) 2600+

memory available
959 MB

and finaly I get the response , application is not responding, and the only way to stop everything is to reset the pc. I attached my config file, in the hope that mabye you can find out what's wrong.
best regards

You attached config.exe, not config.exe.log.

That log doesnt contain an attempt to update the EPG. It just shows the two second or so of starting the config app.

The logs are overwritten each time you start the config app, so you really need to post the log immediately after you do the 'Update EPG'.

Ok, I can definitly see it gets stuck at the end of checking one the transponders. Its not immediately obvious why it is doing this though. It does still seem to be alive, since its continuing to log this message in the log file.

Can you possibly post the config.exe-native.log that went with this? It might contains some additional info on what is happening.

i started epg scanning again, and after more the 1h30 windows was replying "no response from config.exe". I attached the new config.exe.log and the config.exe.native in the zip file.

Sorry, I dont know. Everything looks pretty much ok in the logs. You might have to switch to using XMLTV.
