Hey guys. Thanks for all your help. GB-PVR is working great. But we have a couple more glitches. Certain channels do not have any sound. Most do, but a few like MTV, VH1 and ESPN2 (but strangely enough, ESPN has sound).

Iâve been having an intermittent problem deleting files from the video library.
Occasionally I see the error message below, but most of the time the computer beeps, and the MVP locks without an error. Deleting files from ârecordingsâ works perfectly every time.
It happens on the local system with all other network computers shut down, or when deleting a file from another computer on the network.
It almost appears that GBPVR is sending a double request to delete the file. If the error appears and I click OK, the file is deleted and MVP/GBPVR starts responding again.
Iâm using the default blue skin and my searches came up empty.
One strange thing Iâve noticed is.
If I delete a file from a network share (from a different computer), and the video being deleted is not on its system drive, but the system drive has been turned off by windows power management. The file will delete before the âsystemâ drive spins up, without an error, every time.
is there a way you could maximize GBPVR to full screen mode without going to the config application? On some programs, double clicking on the picture will ghange it from windowed mode to full screen and back again.

I have gbpvr up and running quite well now with one pvr150 and two mvp's.
A quick question: I will no doubt eventually add a second pvr150, but for the time being I can't really foresee needing to record two different things at the same time, but there are occasions when it would be nice to watch one program while recording another or watch tv on both mvp's at the same time.
If I add my non-pvr wintv card back into the machine and set it up as the second device in gbpvr, will it only be used in the event the pvr150 (set up as the first device is busy?) Can I configure it so that the non-pvr card is only used for tv viewing and all recording happens on the pvr card? :confused:
Well I think I just successfully got my pvr card and gbpvr up and running.
I bought the cheaper 150MCE card thanks to this previous posting: http://forums.nextpvr.com/showthread.php?t=12122. Only problem with it, and forgive me if I use the wrong terms, is that it doesn't have the little metal tab so that you can screw it into the top of the computer slot to make sure it doesn't pull out by itself. I looked at the picture of it again at pcalchemy and it should have it, but mine doesn't. Not sure if I want to see if they'll exchange it. What do you think, should I exchange it?
I had a few problems getting everything to work, but they were all resolved doing some searches of previous posting:
- Live TV with black screen, audio, but no video = found out I didn't have my Nero video decoder, so I did a reinstall and got it. Problem fixed.
- Live TV freezes after a few seconds = had to select both Live Preview Mode and Return From Timeshift Mode in the config application. Problem fixed.
The only thing I'm hoping to fix now is the video quality. It isn't as good as I would like, so I'll do some searches again and see what I can do about it. Might run the cable through the amplifier that other cable feeds are running through now. But I'll save that for tomorrow...
The last thing I have to do is set up the MediaMVP which I'll run through a wired ethernet from my family room up to my PC room where it will go through a router and then out to my PC. Hope that will run smoothly and if it doesn't I have this wonderful forum to do searches and find out what I need to do to fix the problem. :p Thank you!
I rebuilt my box earlier this week and thought I would upgrade to the newest version as well. So I rebuilt and downloaded and installed and have not been able to get it to work at all. My primary problem other than not being able to record was getting my listings from Zap2it. I would continuously tell me my EPG settings were wrong and to try again. I uninstalled re-installed till I was blue in the face. I did this with my Hauppauge drivers as well.
I then posted on zap2its forums to see if they were having problems. I tried to update again and it failed. I then immediately uninstalled 95.16 and rolled it back to v. 94.13 and did a quick 4 day update and it went just fine. So I rebooted and did a 7 day update and it too worked just fine. I added in my second card "150" and updated that as well and again had no problems with Zap2it.
With the newer version I could not get it to work but so far on an older version no problem.
I have not tested to see if it is recording or even showing a picture yet because I am at work doing all of this remotely.
Let me know if you think it is just me. I will try to update again...but it was a clean install from the operating system up.

I'm testing MyMusic 3 beta 9 from reven's web site. With that, I start to play an album on the MVP then hit Stop on the remote and get a blue MediaMVP screen for a second and then the GBPVR main menu.
Reven's looked at the logs (attached in a ZIP file) and says it's not his error. Can you help?
