Sound works for everything else except Net Radio. All the latest windows updates installed, etc. No changes in my config. Artist/Song Title are listed, but there's no sound coming out. Standard 96k buffer setting in the config. Open to suggestions.
I have just setup gbpvr with a Hauppauge 150 card w/hauppague remote using a sat receiver box (DirectTv) as the source tuner. I configured the card and the remote and setup gbpvr (along with Zapit as the source for EPG data). I can bring up the gbpvr client and view the tv guide , view live tv and change the channels via my hauppauge remote just fine. But when I schedule a recording it only records the current channel set on the sat box, not the channel that I set to record. For some reason gbpvr is sending the remote control signals to the sat box when I'm viewing live tv but not sending them when it's time to change channels for a recording session.
I have two USB2's and have had no luck recording two programs at the same time. I see that some folks are able to record two programs at once with various Hauppage tuners and GB-PVR but not using dual USB2's. I know MCE can do this but I really like GB-PVR. Has anyone succeeded in doing this?
When i try to run gbpvr v9516 nothing happens, no error, nothing
the BDA Mux checker works and the Tuning assit works but the config and the menu do don't when i select them(small egg timmer for 5secs). I thought it was a .net problem so i have reinstalled .2 but same issue.
I hope i'm not being think and missed some thing. but can any point point me in the right direction cheers.
Just have alittle problem did a new install with the GB-PVR v0.95.16
And in options I set it to start 1 MVP client.
But every time I reboot it starts the 1 client in the background + a MVP Mediaserver window that I can just close because the service is running in the background...I dont have any shortcut in Startup for this MVP Media server...:confused:
And I did a clean install on my machine, any idea about how to change this...

Looking for someone who may have upgraded to v4 and have a regged 3.3.10 they won't use anymore. I don't need 4, and they refuse to sell the old version at a discount as far as I can tell.

When I play a recording and push "pause" I get a black transision for a second but using the same dongle.bin in the old GB-PVR version v0.93.10 dosent it seems quicker this way since you dont "wait" for this millisecound black overlay screen.
Any Idea about why the new version are showing this Black transission?
This is not a biggie just strange and if its a quick fix then great

Well i just got reffered here, and I love the software. One problem, I dont have a tv tuner card. So I am looking to get one. I have Rogers Digital Cable. I have a box from them. I also have high-def tv with them. So I guess I would like to be able to use normal cable, digital channels, and hi-defs channels. Is this possible? I would love to have gb control everything.

Because we live in such a backwards country, the 2 epg feeds I know of, mr.geek.nz and reven's xmltvnz can only access 5 days worth of data so I can't schedule that program.
I know I could put in a manual recording, but one of the best features of having a EPG based recorder is you can just set it up, and at the end of the shows season it will just magically stop recording it, where with one of those VCR things you have to remember to stop it...oh and change tapes (ha ha that's so 1985!!!)
