Hi all,
I've had my pvr set up for the last 3 weeks and it's been working atreat...love it.
I'm using an athlon xp2600 setup with 2 nova t's(90002).
Been recording loads of stuff no probs, last night however, i got a 0kb recording, and anything i try to record now comes out as 0kb. I've been using the cyberlink 5.0.0.813 and it's been fine.
Ive tried updating to the 5.0.1307 but i've still got the problem.
Nothing occurred to the gbpvr system that i can see, any ideas why it might have just stopped working.....I'm at a bit of a loss, I can post the native.log if it will help, but reading through it, the recording starts and stops at the correct time, but the file stays at 0kb...
Hello all, tried to install 95.14, get an error message when starting config.exe, "An unhandled exception has occurred in your application. If you click Continue, the application will ignore this error and attempt to continue. If you click quit, the application will be shut down immediately. File or assembly name NativeUtilities, or one of it's dependencies, was not found." When I click continue, the config.exe starts without any info showing up. Please help! I've tried with Net1.1 alone, Net.2 alone, Net1.1 and Net.2, dumped Win2000 and started from scratch. The wife says she's tired of me hibernating in the computer room. Any help will be greatly appreciated!
The System.Collections.Specialized.StringDictionary looked to be ideal for what I needed but it seems to convert all Keys to lower case. The values retain case-sensitivity but I specifically need both to do this.
I use (example)
Code:
MyDict.Add("aBCd", "eFGh");
...
// then use the String Dictionary enumerator and a DictionaryEntry
MyEntry = (DictionaryEntry) MyEnum.Current;
But in this case, MyEntry.Keys and MyEntry.Value will return "abcd" and "eFGh". Sorry - new at C# collections - is this expected behaviour? Can I use an alternative collection type?
I would like to ask if someone could write a plug in to get the Medion X10 Remote control to work with GBPVR ?
Lot's of people have the Medion, 8386 and 8800 models, these two models have slightly different remotes but the X10 software seems to be identical.
GBPVR works with the Philips 7131 Tuner card it is a Hybrid with Dual DVB-T , Dual DVB-S and dual analogue tuners.
It works sort of ok with Jonny's BDA.ini entries but I had trouble with the EPG and switching channels.
I un-installed it in add/remove programs so that I could re-install it and start again so to speak, but when I re-installed it , it still showed loads of previous settings including the incorrect entries.
How do I cleanly and completely un_install it ?
There must be someone out there that can make the X10 remote work with it ? please help.
It would be nice if, when having transcode set to ASAP, the finished recording didn't show in the 'What's New' and 'Ready' menus until after conversion was complete and, instead, stayed in the 'Pending' menu but marked as 'Converting' or similar.
What I'm wondering is if, for example, two films finish at the same time. It takes around 3-5mins to transcode a film from dvr-ms to mpeg2 on my system. Suppose I go to What's New and start watching the one that is still waiting in the transcode queue. A few minutes later, it goes through transcoding then the original dvr-ms file is deleted while I'm watching it.
In reality, I'd spot that I was watching a dvr-ms recording on my MVP (duration on OSD timeline counting up) but my wife wouldn't. It would be cleaner (for my household anyway) if it didn't appear as an available recording until conversion was complete. Especially when ASAP is used and also the 'delete original file' option.
All, I have read the previous posts in regards to sound and the newest release of GBPVR. This seems to be a different issue.
Here's whats happening:
All video whether pre-recorded, played off my internal network, downloaded tv as well as recorded tv and live tv suffer from an audio problem. The reason I don't believe this to be a PVR-150 issue is my video output uses my Radeon 9200 and Soundblaster for output and it affects not only tv, but already recorded shows that worked correctly before the update.
The Audio is there, but it is very very very low, when I turn my home theater up LOUD there is audio, but not to the volume of expected. All straight audio still works at normal levels i.e.: mp3 and net radio playback.
Am I wrong in thinking that this is not a pvr-150 driver problem?
I have an ATI Rage 128 Pro Capture card. Can I use this with GB-PVR? If so, what do I select on the caputer card configuration screen. I have a little programming background so if there is something that needs to be changed, feel free to be technical in your response. Thanks in advance.
I've been noticing that the zap2it program listings are incorrect for several program items each week. I have been trying to use the xrecord to set up a schedule for Avatar: the Last airbender, and I've noticed that half the time the show's listed as some other program.
If I check the zap2it.com (not the labs.zap2it.com) the schedule appears to be correct.
For instance:
Sunday 04, at 11:00AM (zap2it: Comcast South Oakland - Royal Oak - Cable B)
The listing shows a half hour episode of Avatar upto 11:30AM. However, zap2it.com listing shows a *1* hour episode of avatar upto 12:00Noon!
Is anyone else having such issues? any solutions? This really sucks because the whole idea of the pvr is shot if I can't get correct program listings.
