All collections in the series have been updated to support version v4.0 of the Weather plug-in. This fixes a bug that made detailed forcasts inaccessible.
Hey, these last couple of weeks I have been missing the OSD when I play some recordings. The recordings that are missing the OSD also stutters sometimes, the recordings that work with the OSD plays smoothly. There doesn't seem to be any consistance in which recordings works with the OSD and which doesn't, like, recordings at some quality settings or something. But it's consistant in the way that if a recording doesn't work with the OSD the first time I play it, then it never will (and, if a recording works with the OSD, then it workes at all other times). Restarting GBpvr or the computer doesn't seem to make a difference...
These are my playback settings:
Video Decoder: InterVideo Video Decoder
Audio Decoder: InterVideo NonCss Audio Decoder
Audio Renderer: VIA AC'97 Audio(WAVE)
I use WMR9, I haven't got ffdshow installed and I haven't checked the "Minimal OSD During Playback" box
I have a log where I play two diffirent files, with the first file the OSD fails, with the second file the OSD works fine:
Code:

The diffirence seems to be the graphs GBpvr chooses for the files, in the one where the OSD fails it has:
[SIZE="1"]Graph contains the following filters: Video Renderer 0004 InterVideo NonCSS Audio Decoder for Hauppauge Video Renderer VIA AC'97 Audio (WAVE)
[COLOR="Red"]MPEG Audio Decoder
Overlay Mixer2[/COLOR] InterVideo Video Decoder MainConcept MPEG Splitter

In the one that works it has:
[SIZE="1"]Graph contains the following filters:
[COLOR="seagreen"]Video Renderer
VIA AC'97 Audio (WAVE)[/COLOR] InterVideo Video Decoder InterVideo NonCSS Audio Decoder for Hauppauge MPEG-2 Demultiplexer

I wonder if it's somehow showing the video using Overlay, but is trying to show the OSD with WMR9 when I play the first file?
It really puzzels, me 'cos I don't remember changing anything on the computer around the time when this started
i thought i stuffed something up in my code since i cant seem to get the position of the current audio track. ie this outputted all zeros
Code:
IList playlist = PluginHelperFactory.getPluginHelper().GetAudioPlayList(out trackNumber, out duration, out playback);
Debugger.Verbose("trackNumber: "+trackNumber);
Debugger.Verbose("duration: "+duration);
Debugger.Verbose("playback: "+playback);
i remembered that i had a similar problem ages ago with the original lcd plugin, that never showed the correct position. i fixed this later when i formatted my machine.
now i really dont want to format to fix this issue, can anyone think what might be causing the all 0s, could a filter be getting in the way? anyway to try and track down what exactly is going on?
im using the prerelease version of gbpvr, but i really doubt that has anything to do with it since i had this problem before.
Does GBPVR use the real frame numbers of the played back recording to determine where to skip using the frame numbers in the .txt file from SA or Comskip or are these frame numbers from the .txt file first converted to time codes using the fps and are these timecodes then being used during playback to know where to skip?
For some reason I can't get MyPrograms to show up in GBPVR. It's checked in the Plugin tab in the config and I setup an emulator but it's just not there. MyPictures shows up just fine... the MyDatabase file is in the gbpvr room directory as well.
Right now I'm running a 150 card off a dish/sat decoder (CanalDigital, Norway) with a blaster. Got working pretty well exept that the channel change is a bit slow and only one channel to watch/record at a time.
Now I'm looking at satalite cards so I have some questions.
What is the difference between a Nova S and Nexus S cards ?
If I want to record and watch other channels at the same time I will have to add another card right?
Each card with have to get a signal from a seperate head on the dish?
I will have to use a CAM card reader to unlock my subscribed channels. Will muliple sat cards work off one card reader?
Anyone from Norway/Sweden/Denmark with such a set up ?? Let me know!
I'm having trouble with the playback of MPEGs recorded from GBPVR on my Media MVP... I have adjusted the screen position of the menus on the MVP, but the playback of recordings is off. The left and right 1" or so of the picture is cut off. Almost like the video is being stretched. Are there any settings for playback or on the MVP that will let me adjust this?
i have finally been bit by the PVR bug and put together my first HTPC and have installed GBPVR. I believe everything is setup correctly but when i bring up the menus all the headings like Recordings and Search Guide are missing the last few letters.
i am running a Sempron64 3300+, PVR150, EvGA 6600GT and 1GB memory on a MSI NFORCE3 board. This is all attached to a Sony KP-46WT500 via DVI.
