I think the built-in VideoArchive is fine as it is, but once you have more than ten movies, you'd like to have a way to search through the folder with the movies, rather than having to scroll all the way through the list. However I haven't had any luck in finding any plugins with a built-in search function, I also tried MyVideos, but without luck, so now I'm asking if anyone in here knows, if there's any video plugin which has a search function??
Is there anyway that you can do this... When your playing a net radio station from the web button... is there a way to add the currently playing stream to your list of favorites?
whenever i play a dvd (iso or regular dvd) gbpvr will quit responding and have to be restarted. when i bring up the task manager it says its not responding. i can usually get through the main menu fine, but once it starts a movie it stops
Hello, I use this DVB-T card (with BDA drivers) on a VIA C3 1Ghz (Nehemiah).
Using Intervideo (WinDVD 5) or Cyberlink (PDVD 5) codec live TV is smooth, except for first second and OSD, and the CPU usage is around 60%-80%.
Anyway, almost always, when I switch a channel the screen is dark and no audio can be heard (the light on the Cinergy is on, like is receiving data).
Sometimes switching to another and then returning to previous, or return to main menu and then on Live TV again, it's fixed.
Anyone had same problem with this card? I think it shouldn't be
cause of CPU's low power, because it never goes close to 100% load in live TV.
It's bad that I changed my old TV and VHS with this board and an LCD monitor, sure I could them get work easily, but GBPVR is the only software that goes near to work right.

spotted an interesting problem yesterday, I'd recorded the last program from Cbeebies (story makers for my daugther) and it recorded 15 hours of TV, including the first hour correctly.
I've checked and I think the problem is based on the information from the TVGuide, it's not reporting the end of the final program, and thus the closure of a channel is included into the end of the programme, AKA 15 hours of nothing !
my system is XP SP 2 on a 2GHz P4, with 1gb of ram, 80Gb hard disk, and 1Gb network with a Hauppage 350 card. All is working fine (except redrat (becuase I'm not sure how to set it up...but thats another story)).....
my TV source is a PACE Sky digital box, and I'm getting the TV Guide from Bleb UK....
I have downloaded and placed the mvpscreenpostion.dll in the gbpvr main directory.
I only have the Blue skin that comes with the download file. I do not know what skin.xml that I should edit.
How do I edit the skin? What am I looking for?
Once the skin is edited how do I enable it? what is the configuration application.
I know that I have seen similar questions but after several hours of searching this forum, I have not been successful at finding an answer.
I wonder what would be required to schedule and record FM Radio?
I am assuming that this is currently not possible, right?
A pity, if so. There's so many readio broadcasts worth listening to (not music) which run at times where I am at work and have no chance of enjoying them. A scheduling and recording feature would be just great.
I just ordered a WinTV PVR USB2 which is going to replace my PVR350. The reason I am doing this is because my mb does not like the slot my PVR350 is installed in (constant lockups) so I thought I would try the USB2 version.
Anyway, my question is about GBPVR setup. I know that I have to select the "WinTV PVR USB" under "Capture Card type" but do I have to change any of the other settings? For example, do I keep recording source as "Direct Recording Plugin" ? Just curious if GBPVR has to be set up differently for a USB2 compared to my 350 so I dont screw it up

I haven't had time to have a closer look at your XML files. Maybe you have black characters on a black background?
