Hi, Well I understand that the core engine code is not available, I was hoping there would be an interface that would allow us to integrate s2emu into the engine to support decryption. I know I can do it with dvbcore, but as the core engine here is unknown, I was wondering if the developer would at least provide some hooks so we can make s2emu happen....
I am begining to feel the pain of mpeg2 for my recordings as I am running out of room. I wanted to try the autoconversion in GB-PVR, and it seems that Xvid is the best option (I tried WMV and the quality is awful). However, it is not listed as an option? I am assuming that I need to install Xvid, but is there a specific version I should use?

I have installed GB-PVR and am running it via my MediaMVP by clicking on the "GB-PVR MediaMVP Server" shortcut in the Programs menu once I have logged in, however, I would like to be able to have it running as a service.
Does anyone know how to acheive this?
I have previously used FireDaemon which allows you to run programs as a service but I do not know how to do this for GB-PVR. I notice that the "GB-PVR MediaMVP Server" shortcut calls GBPVR.exe but presumabley with some switches to enable just the server part without launching the full program onto the PC screen. I am guessing I should be able to get it working if I just knew which command line GBPVR.exe switch was being used.
I'm having a problem with the news ticker. It scrolls across the screen just fine, but every five seconds or so, all text on the main menu briefly gets brighter. Not only that, but at the same time, it looks like the ticker jumps forward a few extra pixels, and then jumps back. I'm currently using the xmedia skin, but the problem occurs on other skins, as well. I have also played around with the interval and speed settings in the news.xml file.
It's hard to get any kind of screenshot on this, but I'll post my main menu\skin.xml and my panels\news.xml.

I just noticed that the Videos and Movies paths in X record will not list DVR-MS files (if you rename them to mpg everything's fine but this is not really a long term option).
Does anyone know if there a way to change recognised file extensions or is it like this for a reason?
Hey I like the external player option on "My Videos" how about adding an external player for "My Music". I use Winamp as it has some good plugins/visuals
