I have my MVP on a 10/100/gigabit wired lan and while watching a TV show (not LiveTV), I get a slight pause every 5 minutes or so. When it pauses, the screen goes black for 1-2 seconds and I see a square box followed by a right triangle in the upper right-hand corner of the screen.
Does anyone know what's causing this and how I can correct it???
Is there anyone with a broadband connection, that could temporarily allow me remote access to a machine with a PVR150 or PVR500 in it? Either VNC or Remote Desktop would be fine. I'd need GraphEdit, but I'm happy to supply it if its not already on the machine.
I'd only need about a half an hour for a short experiement.
Is it possible to just install the MVP streaming module without the full install of GB-PVR? I was hoping to avoid having to install all the other pre-requisite software since I won't be using the live video or recording features at this time. I just want to play MPG files already on the drive.
I'm using a Leadtek Winfast PVR2000 capture card, and every setting I choose under recording source shows me "The drivers you have selected to not appear to be installed." I got the EPG to work allright, signed up with zap2it, so I can see all the listings, but when I run the program and try to Watch live TV, it says it's not configured properly.. what am I doing wrong?
I'm trying to run my PS2 on my computer screen since i don't have a tv. my tuner card has a composite video in, but i can't figure out how to make it all work in GB-PVR. could somebody please help me.
Some time ago, I got an email explaining these words for me, I found it again today and thought I throw it in here.
As Victor Borge put it: " it's your language, - I'm only trying to use it!"

1) When I run GBPVR in full screen mode it streatches the image of live tv beyonf the endges of the TV screen, casuing some very bad cropping.
Is the a problem with the video card drivers, or the codec I'm using? My video card is an nvidia, what is the recomended codec and drivers that I should be using?
2) Is there a way to set the machine up so I can connect to it accross the internet and scheadule a recording? I have mobile web on my palm and would love to be able to set up a recording when I suddenly realize I'm going to miss a show.
i have not written any plugins so excuse my naiveness, but i notice that plugins seem to have all key mapping hard-coded. is this by design or a limitation of the plugin framework? all of the native GBPVR modules have customizable key mapping.
it would be nice to be able to customize these mappings (mainly for remote purposes) for preference and for consistency between plugins and similar software.
