We've had a "problem" with nickelodeon during the mornings. Our daughter watches about one hour of nickelodeon (the morning shows) when she gets home in the afternoon. The shows are about 10-15 minutes each, and the times in the EPG are very rarely accurate. So we get about 5 minutes of one show and 5 of the other in each recording :-( So yesterday I came up with the "brilliant" idea to just record the firet show and put a 65 minute post padding on it. She always only watches them all in a row and then we delete them anyway. But it was a PITA to press the right arrow 65 times to change the padding... I wish for the ability to just enter 65 with the number keys.

It has the info but doesn't display the info in the grid
but when you move the cursor the bottom will display the info for the show

It is only about 10 hours that is missing then the rest is there

im getting this error every time I choose recordings from the main menu. I posted the gbpvr.exe.log and the error is right at the end with all the technical info included. All I have installed is paraled and systemstatus so far, both of which ive disabled and still get the error. Thanks.

This is a problem that i receive that error message everytime I do an epg update. The Zap2it data gets downloaded as i can see it in the search and listings. The GBPVRTray.exe.log file shows the following

Does anyone know of a wireless card (preferably USB) that has a Wake on LAN feature?

I've searched the forums here and not sure of this answer. Has anyone gotten the following to work? GBPVR, Media-MVP and Directv D10-300 receiver. I've run the IR blaster config and there doesn't seem to be a code set to control the D10. I searched the Hauppauge site and I have the latest software release. The serial control cable doesn't work with the D10-300 so that thats not answer. Anyone have an answer?

After re-tuning for some new Channels here in the U.K., I searched for "Channel Logos" for the channels I watch/record based on :

(but renamed to match the actual GBPVR Channel names).

Please find these in the ZIP file attached - it should save other UK GBPVR users having to duplicate the effort.

A few notes:
- The logo for "Teachers' TV" is only displayed correctly by plug-in "Xguide". However, the standard "TV Guide" does not find it properly. I suspect it contains a file open routine that does not expect single quotes in a filename ???

- I could not find a recent logo for either of "Motors TV" or "Sky Travel".


Installation Instructions:
- Unzip the attached ZIP file.
- Copy all image files to the directory:

<DRIVE>:\Program Files\devnz\gbpvr\media\ChannelLogos\

where <DRIVE> is usually "C", or wherever your Applications are installed.

You can generate Language.XMLs from the Excel sheet, in all Languages, including Hebrew, Arabic, Farsi, Chinese, Japanese or Korean.

Use the Excel Sheet - GBPVR Translations.zip
The purpose of the Excel sheet is to make it easier to create new translations and modify/update existing translation.
* Take a look at Excel sheet to see status of " text strings". Red text means not edited and is a machine translation. Blue text means edited/OK. If you are about to translate, add or change translation, use the Excel sheet or the English XML.
* After you have finished you translation, place the cursor on a translated cell, then run the Macro (ANSI for western countries, Unicode for other countries) and generate you own Language.XML file into GBPVR folder.
* Restart GBPVR to see your translation.
* Share your translation by posting the Excel sheet with your translation in this tread.
* I will include your translation in next GBPVR Translation "release"

How the Language Plugin Works
This “Language Plugin” will extract all Language.XML files into a GBPVR/Language folder.
After extraction a Language Selector will be launched.
Selected Language will be copied to the GBPVR folder with the name Language.XML
Restart GBPVR for translation to take place in the GUI.

hey there,

I've just downloaded some Movies with additional .idx and .sub files and wondered that gb-pvr played them in the correct aspect ratio.
So I switched to overlay mode and there it worked also well.
So I truncated the .sub (withoud corresponding sub file it wont work) file to 0 length for not having any subtitles but only the correct aspect ratio for my movie in gb-pvr with overlay mode.

Perhaps you could use this mechanism to implement an keep aspect ratio state for overlay mode in gb-pvr.
