Okay, so someone please pity me. Here is my sad sad story. The only reason I ever purchased an Xbox was so that I could watch tv on it, yes tv, with a mod chip and linux installed on it, I was supposed to be able to connect it to mythtv (that other pvr). Well, mythtv just turned out to be a nasty little thing and we just didn't get along together and thus fatefully gbpvr and I met like a match made in heaven.

So now my xbox has been gathering dust forever now, is there any way it could work with GBPVR using the MCEs kit from microsoft? (I didn't even know this thing existed until a few minutes ago)

Anyone know how to add Ctrl+b to Media Center remote functions so the Web browser add on will work (needed to exit the web view)

I use a MVP and was curious as to what the Aspect0-7 settings in Config.xml are used for? Do they apply to MVP units?

If so, can anyone provide a simple example of the syntax and its affect on my MVP's image?

I've seen threads that mention using a remote to cycle thru these aspect settings. Can this be done with the MVP's remote to dynamically cycle thru different aspect ratios? How would I modify Config.xml so that some specific button on my Hauppauge MVP remote control would cycle thru these Aspect settings?

I have an MVP connected to a LCD projector and would like to be able to zoom the image smaller during Live TV, playback of recorded shows etc. I saw the VerticalZoom and HorizontalZoom settings in Config.xml, but changing them had no affect. Any tips for a newbie?

I've seen lots of threads talking about some utility called FFwdShow, Can anyone explain it in simple terms as to what it is used for within GB-PVR, how to install it etc? Please keep in mind that I am new to GB-PVR and all these plugins and utils. Will it address my resizing of the MVP's image?

Just noticed that the live tv buffer files don't seem to be delted unless the entire recording service has been reset. Is that what it is supposed to do? If so is there a workaround? My system is very stable and GBPVR runs perfectly. I don't anticipate rebooting this PC or restarting the the recording service on any kind of regular schedule but now I am afraid that my drive will get filled up with live tv buffer files.

Any thoughts?

What is the recommended WinXP driver for use with the Hauppauge PVR-350? Also should there be any problems with running a PVR-350 and a PVR-500 in the same system?

My MVP and GBPVR are working great, but I noticed that on playback, the video looks like it is zoomed in slightly... Channel logos and stuff are being cutoff around the edges. (Almost like zooming in 5 or 10 percent). Are there settings within the GBPVR config that can control this? Or perhaps settings for the capture devices? (Hauppauge 500) ?

Is there support for Canadian movie theatres (nice spelling eh?) in the TheaterListing plugin?

I have it installed at my apartment in Phoenix and I love it - but don't know if it will work in Toronto.

Is it normal that if I open the GBPVR config app, then close it, that it erases all files in the theater directory?

For some reason my LiveTV has stopped working - it had always been touch and go, but now I get only this. When I try to watch LiveTV I get the connecting to servers screen (on MVP) and then back to the main menu.

I have set the pre-play delay to 1500 for the MVP and the regular pre-play delay as well.

This is only happening on the MVP, locally the LiveTV works no problem.
