  Blank Menu Item
Posted by: Olof - 2005-10-01, 07:43 AM - Forum: GB-PVR Support (legacy) - Replies (1)

From time to time I get a blank Menu Item. If I press that item I get an errormessages like "Index out of range".
To fix it I run config.exe one or two times and it works again. The blank item is always the shutdown plugin, located at the bottom of the Menu. My menu has more items not visible to screen and contains also a Submenu.

Any suggestion?

just a short question. Is it possible to cycle through aspect ratios when using the hw-decoder of the hauppauge pvr 350?

MCE 2005 Remote - How to get/install the driver?
Posted by: callagga - 2005-10-01, 05:44 AM - Forum: GB-PVR Support (legacy) - Replies (3)

Hi,

It seems XP SP2 can't find a driver for the MCE 2005 remote. I tried the microsoft driver download but it seems when you try to install it (run the executable) it is expecting you to have the media centre o/s:mad: (got it from http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/detai...layLang=en)

Can anyone confirm where to get an XP SP2 compatible driver from?

Tks

  Zap2itListingDays - if over 3 I get memory errors
Posted by: hooners - 2005-10-01, 04:23 AM - Forum: GB-PVR Support (legacy) - Replies (1)

I'm currently using v0.93.10 gbpvr on win2k and everything is working great. i have a hauppauge 350 and 150 dual tuner setup and use zap2it for my listings. If I change my config.xml to pull in more than 3 days in listings (setting is <Zap2itListingDays>3</Zap2itListingDays>) I get memory errors where it states I have run out of memory and gbpvr.exe hangs and i have to terminate it. Even a value of 4 causes it to hang.

I get the following in my gbpvr main log as an example. Is there anyway around this that anyone knows of?? I'd love to load at least 1 week for the listings. This is a small piece and it keeps repeating until memory runs out. Thanks in advance.

  Error- reinstalled with no change
Posted by: zaldwaik - 2005-10-01, 02:57 AM - Forum: GB-PVR Support (legacy) - Replies (1)

I am getting an error randomly, but mainly when I moving between menu options. I have not really changed anything on my system, but changed some GBPVR settings. The error has to do with missing reference to an object. The log talks about a missing DB connection. But you will see more in the attached log file.

I recently upgraded from a geforce mx pci card to a fx5200. now gbpvr stretches the edges (left and right) beyond the screen. but the desktop looks fine and doesn't stretch.

  Tweak Screensaver
Posted by: ydekmekji - 2005-10-01, 01:59 AM - Forum: Wishlist - Replies (2)

When I have music running or if i'm in one of the sub menus, and the screen saver comes on, and I press a remote button and come out of the screen saver, it always takes me back to the main menu. Is it possible to add an option where it would keep me in the same plugin or menu that i was in before the screen saver?

Getting the GB-PVR to show up on MVP/TV
Posted by: cbolitho - 2005-10-01, 01:57 AM - Forum: GB-PVR Support (legacy) - Replies (4)

I'm not sure if I have everything set up correctly, but on my computer I can see and use the GB-PVR interface, record, etc...I have the MediaMVP connected via ethernet, with components into the tv. I was instructed that once you have the GB-PVR installed, it will automatically overlap the MediaMVP GUI, thus being able to use on the TV. This is not the case for me. Anyone have suggestions?

  dvd2mpeg problems
Posted by: jam_zhou - 2005-10-01, 12:48 AM - Forum: Old Stuff (Legacy) - Replies (12)

Hi,

I've installed all the programs and plugins as suggested for dvd2mpeg to work but I can't get past dvd decryptor. I've solved the issue of asking for region codes. But after DVD decryptor, nothing happens.

What logs do I look at to fix this?

That is supposed to happen?

  Plays 2x speed after pause
Posted by: capone - 2005-10-01, 12:44 AM - Forum: GB-PVR Support (legacy) - Replies (1)

Not sure if this is part of the other problem I ran into:

When I pause something recording or live, and I pause, when I unpause, it runs at 2x the speed (like a FF).

If I stop and go back (and it's a recording) it resumes from the point of the pause. I lose the buffer if is it live (TS).

This is where I unpause:

Quote:20:15:47.531 VERBOSE DirectShowPlayerBase:ConfusedetPlaybackRate(1.000000)
20:15:47.531 VERBOSE Restoring audio

Nothing remarkable I'm sure. The next thing after is re-starting the show.
