I've got a Kameleon 6-in-1 that I am using with GB-PVR through a USB-UIRT. The problem is choosing the best remote code which enables enough buttons. I thought the 'Sat' class was the most suitable, and searched for a code that transmitted a code when the 'Play' button was pressed. I found one (0610) that seems to do most buttons, but the nav keys seem slower than others i've tried, and the 'skip' buttons don't work. It's the best i've found yet though.
I use PVR 250. I need a guideline how to setup close caption, please. By the way, my screen has a white dash line running on top of record tv. Does it involve? I've never seen in previous version of gbpvr.
I have a dual tuner card. I figured out how to record one show while watching another show.
But how can I record 2 shows (1 one each of my 2 tuners), but also watch the channel that is being recorded as its being recorded? Is this possible? When I try to watch the channel thats recording, I just see a black screen and have to press ESC to get back to the main menu. Or do I have to wait till the show is completely recorded before watching it?
In the wiki it lists rewind as Ctrl-R, but I've been informed it's actualyl Ctrl-D. Someone might want to update that. I tried, but you need to login or something or other.
I can see 2 tuners in Windows Devices, and also can see 2 tuners when I show the "Show Status" (Recording Status) as Sleeping. When I run the GBPVR app, I can watch TV alright.
But how can I watch or record both tuners simultanesouly? The main GBPVR app doesn't seem to let me pick which tuner I want to watch or record. It seems its by default using only Tuner#2, even though I have 2 Capture Sources already setup. How can I pick which run I want to run the app against?
I have an aspect ratio problem on the MVP that started with the last release of GBPVR. The logo at the bottom of the screen is only 1/2 showing....never did that before. The overall picture also looks a little out of aspect.
The MVP is not set in 16:9....
Anyone having this problem or any ideas on how to fix it?
As you all know, we'd been having problems with poor performance several times a day on the web server that hosted http://forums.gbpvr.com. I've now moved the forums to a different box. Performance seems much better to me, but I'd be interested to hear how you've been finding it?
I'm also curious to hear whether people have accessed this site through http://forums.gbpvr.com or if they're having to use a direct URL? It may take a while for your machine to pickup the DNS changes, but I'm hoping to hear some people already have the correct DNS entries.
I am having some logistical issues association with GB-PVR being displayed on a remote TV via the TV out of the PC graphics card (i.e. shared use of computer for PC & TV). For example:
- the only way to get GB-PVR in full screen (no windows) mode onto the TV seems to be to drag the XP START bar across to the TV then launch it, then drag the START bar back to the PC monitor. OK when the TV is local, but difficult (or impossible) when it is in another room and you can't see the screen when you are moving the mouse, also
- when using the PC normally the cursor can drag across onto the TV, which would impact someone watching GB-PVR in the other room
Question - Is there a way to force ONLY GB-PVR to display on the TV output (i.e. secondary monitor) such that (a) it displays here by default and (b) no other applications, or the cursor etc can move across onto the secondary screen?
I have a simple problem. For some reason I can not change the info in the priority schedule.
I select xRecord/Scheduler/ Select a show (around the 35th item or so) Pick update and try to change it from "This chanel, this time" to "ALL" and turn keep duplicates off and pick save.
Now I can go back in/ Exit to the main menu and go back in/ reboot the computer and go back in but it does not change. It still wants to specify a chanel.
