any ideas. Occurs when a recording is about to be started. A reboot made the problem go away.
I have the best results in playback with the Nvidia Codecs, however they don't seem to want to start when selecting DVR-MS as the mux. Has anybody been able to force these two to work in GB-PVR ...??
(I know it can be done as I use this combo with other viewing apps. - I've also used radlight to proiritise the mux and codecs to no avail.)
The main reason for wanting DVR-MS is the lack of disc fragmention it delivers when timeshifting & recording (makes my HDD look preeety when I defrag - seriously; it helps with timeshift FWD/REW alot.)
Hi, how do you stop a recording in GBPVR?
I have tried to stop it by cancelling in GBPVR but although GBPVR shows it as not recording it is recording still according to the little round recording status icon on the bottom right of the screen? It is definitely still recording as you can tell from the HDD activity.
The only way I can stop a recording mid recording is by closing the recording program and restarting it.
is it possible to add an existing mpeg file on the harddisk into the recordings database, so that is occurs in the recordings screen?
I've played around a bit with the ScheduleHelper interface, but in my special case I do not have a channel, a programme or a capture source for the video file.
Another way would be the "import recordings" button in the config app, which would read the necessary information from a xml-file. But I want to this in an automated way. Generating the xml-file wouldn't be a problem. Maybe there is a method in Backend.Common to do the import?
I have all program descriptions in my XML file, but they are not shown in the TV-Guide. I searched for forum, but couldn't find similar problems. Is there anything I must/can do to fix this?
(i use 93.12)
