I am new to NextPVR, but I did have it working on a Windows10 machine. I use this computer as server and use client Kodi18.4 on a firestick and android tablet. Everything was fine until Windows had a major update, and now the Kodi Adon will not work. NextPVR works great when viewing on the server. I think it must be firewall related, but not sure. Any help would be great. Thanks.
my provider apparently changed something, and now all channels [they work fine in vlc] now immediately crash rec service and i get 'cannot communicate with recording service' every time i try a channel, either watching or recording..
help!

anything i can try? happens to every single channel, and they all work in vlc without errors..
I have knewc autostart when I start kodi. I have knewc use the Client UI, or is it now called Remote UI, so I get the same NPVR experience as on the server. For the linked log file, I restarted Kodi & waited for NPVR to come up. I pressed the following buttons on my remote: Right, Left, Blue, Back, Yellow, Back, Green, Back, Red, Back, Guide, TV, Videos, Music, Pictures, Radio, OK (at this point, I was in Kodi & navigated to the Log Uploader.) When I pressed the color keys, it took me to Kodi screens for Videos, Pictures, Music, etc. When I pressed the keys that are supposed to take me to specific NPVR screens, it did nothing. I know that I can press the Menu button and use Martin's menus to get the color keys or go directly to Recordings & that works, but I would like to be able to use the ones on my remote. My MCE remote is giving odd results. Mostly seems to double press for every key. So, if I press skip forwards it skips 2 minutes not one, if I am navigating the list of recordings, the up & down buttons jump two items on the list rather than one.
I changed the recording directory and moved the previous recordings to the new folder.
However, NPVR is not showing these moved recordings.
I tried using export then import with amended files (to new location) but still is not working.
Is there something that I'm missing.
I'm running NextPVR 4.2.4 on Windows 10 in New Zealand.

Have noticed that V5 NPVRTray "Show Status" shows the devices, but no status when recording as was present in V4.
V5 NPVRTray icons no longer shows whether any devices are in use. In V4, the icon went red to indicate one(or more) recordings were in progress. V5 does not (might be related to issue above!)
I've been having issues with recordings lately. 9 out of 10 time it records fine but then it fails randomly. I found in the log where it says failed to start Failed to start recording on allocated device (24730:E:\Recorded TV\...\...ts): 'Device failed to start' but then it will record the next show perfectly fine.
I'm using Kodi as my front end and have Windows 10 and 2+ TB of space on my hard drive.
