Hey all! Great work on this EPG!

Anyway, our local news , News 12, has a link that plays through every EPG program we could find, except our favorite EPG, NextPVR. 

It plays A/V through Kodi, other EPGs (like MYIptv) , VLC, you name it. When we play it through NextPVR using every decoder recommended (Microsoft or LAV) it plays with no audio.

Is this expected behavior for this kind of content using this program?

Is there an easy way to switch the source from ...type=m3u&output=ts" to ...type=m3u&output=m3u8" (TS to HLS) without re-importing the nearly matching URL so it doesn't blow out all scheduling, epg, mapping, etc?  The playlist and db should remain the same switching url's since the source,user/pw remains the same.  I don't see the source url in the config.xml file.  It's a few hours of work to switch starting from scratch via the UI.

I've managed to get Raspbian Kodi Knewc add-on connected to the V5 desktop Windows server. When I select TV Guide on the Pi, it takes 8 minutes to finally display the grid. Granted, I'm loading about 300 channels, but I can't seem to get Knewc to restrict the download to the Favorites-HD group of 28 HD channels even though the settings shows that group as being selected.

I'm hoping that the attached logs will provide the information you need. Have I missed a step or setting? Kodi.log is included in the zip file. TOD is about 1pm.

Hello,

trying to use NextPVR server on a Raspberry Pi 4. After doing what the instructions suggested, i tried to configure it and i was presented with a login screen. Is there any common username/password in the first initial run or what ? Couldn't login with anything i tried.

Also, will i have the option to upload the channel logos i choose in a folder, but also use the OTA EPG like on the Windows version ?

I've recently set up NextPVR with Kodi, and everything was working fine for a few weeks until the last major Windows 10 update last week and related reboot. Since then, I get the "Unable to load add-on" error in Kodi from several PCs trying to connect to NPVR on the server, and so Live TV and Recordings no longer work in Kodi (but are still fine in NPVR).

I have restarted both the Kodi/NPVR apps and the NPVR service on the server, and then run Kodi on the server to replicate the above error. I've attached the resulting logs, with the Kodi log in the zip file as well. Can someone please see if they can figure out why the add-on has stopped working? Thanks!

Sub, once again, a huge thanks for all you've done.  As a very, very long time user of GBPVR and then NPVR, I know the time you've spent nurturing this program and then sharing it with the world.  My piddly twice a year donations aren't nearly enough to show my thanks but I hope you realize how grateful I am for all your work and also for putting up all these years with a dumb cluck like me by answering my questions and a few times, logging in remotely to my system and helping me with new hardware I've acquired.  Major thanks!

I have now removed v4 from both my systems and are using v5 completely with no problems with my usage.  While I record to my NAS, I'm still too ignorant to run it from my Synology or QNAP but that will come in the future when I have more time to play with it.

I just started playing with v5 and liked the all-in-one web UI and much improved overall performance. However, there are quite a few issues that prevents me from switching yet. One issue I want to bring up here is I couldn't find the equivalent xml file channel import function in V5 as in V4, only m3u url import is supported. This XML channel file contains the blaster information for each imported channel and it's different by channel (see a sample below). I wrote programs to generate the XML files for different IPTV sources and use "Import Channels" to import them all. I know modifying the data in SQLite DB directly is another option but it is cumbersome and not safe. so is this function gone or how can I achieve this in v5?

Hey everyone,

After battling with TVHeadEnd for far long I discovered this (NextPVR) which looks so much better etc.

I run a Unraid server and tried following the 'steps' in this thread: Could someone provide an Unraid template? but im getting know where...

I added the NextPVR via Unraid Community applications and its added the docker but nothing works really and don't understand the instructions from the linked thread.

Love version 5 so far, well done, works far better than version 4 for me. So whats the best way to uninstall version 4 so im just left with version 5 ?

Is there a way to use direct play on the web interface? My phone will play iptv but web cannot at times.
