First off, great product. I love the setup, customizations, and overall look and feel. Hats off to you and all of the plugin developers.
I am having a few problems though that I hope you can help me with. I know you are a busy guy supporting a few thousand of us and all, plus cranking out new releases all the time, so thanks in advance for the help.
1. Using timeshift on live tv freezes everything and I have to CTRL+ALT+DEL and kill the task. I also ran into this a couple times with FF on other recordings (not done by GBPVR).
2. NetRadio has stopped working. This is the logfile snippet:

3. I am having clipping problems around the edges of the screen. I am loosing 2-3% of the image on each side in TV, DVD or video file playback.
Anyway, if you can help, great, if not, oh well. Thanks again for the super product.
your EPG subscription to zap2it is expired. I noticed my EPG only had 5 days of data left (it should have 14), tried to update and it just crashed after a few seconds (no information in the logs). I ran a packet sniffer and saw that zap2it was reporting that my subscription was expired. I took their survey and extended my subscription and all is well again. Thought you'd like to know.
Based on that, it would be neat if someplace somewhere GBPVR would keep track of when your subscription is set to expire, since that information is sent by zap2it every time you fetch guide data.
I had programmed USB-UIRT to be able to change my cable box through GBPVR doing the whole press button "1" and Hold until told to release thong. Set up the profile and saved it and it worked fine for a little while. For some reason it has changed now and it will flash a "0" on the cable box and and I get ??? that shows up on the TV screen. When I went in toi set up a new profile for it it automatically started acting like it was recieving an IR signal for the button when I wasn't pushing anything. Whats going on? pleasse help.
I tried adding wmv to the my videos list of extensions, but for some reason it's not playing. I thought that GBPVR is supposed to play anything that windows media player can play, right?
When I used to press the Go button on my Hauggepauge remote, i used to get a menu, now when i press that button, it takes me back to the main menu. When I press F11 (which is what GO equals in my irremote.ini), it does the same thing, goes back to the main menu. Anyone know of a fix?
I have set up the GBPVR software with the MVP device. I have a question about the system.
I would like to be able to change channels during live TV by pressing the buttons for the number on the Haupppauge MVP remote or any other remote (I do have a firefly Remote). Is there any plug ins or is there anything I can do so I don't have to go into the guide and scroll down to channel 335 but rathher hit the 33&5 button and get to that channel or even hi the 3 3 & 5 button while in the guide to get the listing for that channel? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Can I ask whether MediaMVP still the obvious choice for remoting video from PC to TV, re good value/functionality for money? (i.e. audio/video/remote capability - via LAN or wireless)
I have WinXP Home, Hauppaug 250PVR, and Dishnetwork Receiver Model 2800.
The PC has a Pentium 4, 2.8GHz, 60G HD, 512M ram. I've installed GBPVR, but I want it to automatically change the channels on my Sat receiver. Will USB-UIRT be the best choice? Is there a less expensive choice for the IR Blaster? Please let me know of any real or potential problems, before I buy a blaster.
Basically it wakes from sleep OK and tries to get the new listings but can't as it hasn't got an internet connection and doesn't initiate an auto-dial.
Is there any way to force it to dial for an ADSL connection? I've set up auto-dial in the XP internet settings but it seems that this only works in internet explorer and not GBPVR.
