I'd like to see an option to prompt the user before deleting shows from that database that are not seen on the expected recording location. I can't count the number of times I've had the database cleared accidentally. I try to remember to backup the database before I make any changes in my setup, but it is just too easy to forget.

Basically, I'd like to have an option to tell GBPVR that ceratin channels automatically prefer a different profile.
Even better is to allow filtering by channel and category.
This might require a few more recording profiles...
Reasons? See below.
OK, so I got my PVR system up and running for a couple of months now, and my harddisk is beginning to fill up. I am trying to tackle this in several fronts simultaneously, like transcoding, reducing quality a bit to reduce space taken, and if ComSkip ever works perfectly for me, then ComClean.
However, there are some obvious things I would like to do, such as select a low-quality profile for cartoons / anime, since it is usually more than enough. And select higher-quality profile for some of my premium movie channels, or sports.
Added a "Dont record duplicates (zap2it)" setting on the misc tab of the config app. This will use the unique show number supplied by zap2it to try to ensure the exact same show isnt recorded several times.
I don't know what I'm doing right, but I have certain keywords in XRecord. And so every night I get an updated list of movies in GBPVR. I delete most of those recordings cause I already have them, but they keep coming up and I keep deleting them. Anyway of getting around this?
Everything works fine on the PC but once I include the MVP things get wacky. Namely, recordings show as only 1 second long. If I try to ffwd or skip the screen goes black and GBPVR never comes back (until I reset the MVP...unplug and plug back in).
I'm sorry if this is answered elsewhere but I'm not finding anything? I'm sure I'm doing something stupid.
I would like to be able to see what show is currently recording and Xrecord does not do that (as far as I can tell). I would also like to see a cancellation button - sometimes the gudes are off and the show ends early. I would like at that point to cancel the recording without deleting it.
Additionally, I would like to be able to add recording time while the show is recording for those times the show goes over the time frame.
Thanks

I think gbpvr needs the ability to be in timeshift, say for 10 minutes, but then leave to go to the menu for whatever reason (toggle fullscreen, check weather, sched a recording, etc) then resume timeshift, hit play and not loose where your at in your show.
Files moved by Video Archiver do not appear to be accessible in the web interface. Is there a way to undo the archiver and move the files back to the videos directory and adjust the database as appropriate?
