I'm slowly starting to gather a collection of movies within MyVideos and I've gotten to the point where I'm ready to begin to think about sorting the movies into genres.
I currently have MyVideos with the following directories:
TV Series
Movies
DVDs
Music Videos
Downloads
Paused Movies
Now my initial thought was to make sub-directories under the Movies directory for genres. But then I thought that something I may think is Sci-Fi other people in my house may look for under action or whatever.
Then I thought what I need is to be able to tag a movie with multiple genres and then have MyVideos be able to display virtual directories based on these tags.
Then you tag a film with Sci-Fi, Action, Drama then it appears in all of these virtual directories.
These tags could be anything you wanted (genres, actors, directors) and the user could add new tags themselves, but a base set of genres would be a good thing to include if this were put into MyVideos.
It's just an idea and it may have being suggested before, but it seems like a nice flexible solution to me.
I'd like to hear what anyone else thinks about this, Reven especially of course.
Hi there!
First I want to thank you for a very good program.
But when will we get support (again) for the Twinhan DVB-T CI interface?
You had it working before!

I can only hear the volume very faintly on all channels whenever watching live tv ( I have the volume cranked). The video is absolutely perfect. I just upgraded to the new release but had the audio problems in the previous release. Are there any audio settings I can play with? I also tried entering the frequency for channels to see if that would correct the problem but it has not. I'm not sure where else to look. To anyone interested in giving me a hand, I am posting a snippet from my log:

Are the "Connect Pins" settings correct? Should they be mapped the way the logs suggest? I am looking for any information which would help me understand what the problem would be. I love all the features of this product but need to get the sound working.
Got the latest update for FM radio but can't figure out what I need to do to use it. I downloaded the lame filter and copied it to the gbpvr directory but what else is needed?
Whenever I try to enter LiveTV mode, I get an error, and this is written to GBPVR.exe.log:
Code:

The tuner application works fine though.
GBPVR looks is looking like the best pvr software I've tried and I'm really hoping that someone will help me solve this.
For some reason, after installing the latest version, I can't use the Start/Programs menu without getting a 'Problem with Shortcut' error that says 'Fatal error during installation.
I know I can change the path in the start menu but just curious why/how this happened. Everything seems to be in the right place in the directory and so far, works fine. I didn't have any problems during installation that I know of.

How difficult would it be to support populating the TV Guide from the DVB EPG? Using XML sources is fine, but there are some advantages to using the DVB EPG:
1) Not all systems have internet access; with the DVB EPG it will come over the aerial
2) All channels that can be received have EPG data
3) The DVB EPG can provide updates for last minute schedule changes
When I watch live tv (which is perfect, no problem) I don't see an OSD displaying the channel name. Is this correct? I would like to see the channel name for a few seconds. Or did I miss somthing?
Hi, I've just completed a complete rebuild with fresh WinXP-SP2, and new GBPVR v0.93.10, but LiveTV recording service will not work. The gbpvrrecordingservice.exe-native.log shows that it cannot locate "ATI AVStream MPEG2 Multiplexer". The ATI 550 driver (6.14.10.86) installed ok and Radlight Filter Manager shows that the MPEG2 Mux is registered correctly, and other applications can use the 550 card without error.
I've done the usual things of rebooting PC several times, uninstalling/re-installing ATI driver, and even uninstalling/re-installing GBPBR (with reboots between each step) but no luck.
