I realize form searching the forums that a plug-in for caller ID may be in the works. However, I would guess that not all of us watch live tv (especially those of us with MediMPV's). Would there be a way to display a log of say the last 10 callers on the main screen? This could be as easy as finding an existing CID program that saves a log then throwing it up on the main screen. Anyone game?

I'm pretty sure this has been covered before, but I can't find the answer in the forum.

I think my mouse pointer disappears as it should, until my computer has hibernated once. After that the mouse pointer always reappears, and I have to move my mouse a bit in order for the mouse pointer to disappear.

Any suggestions? :-)

Some time ago, I've done some change in my irremote.exe, add the -LiveTv argument to the gbpvr.exe commandline... It was working fine. Yesterday I changed to "gbpvr.exe -LiveTV -UpdateEPG"... But now the selected button at startup is guide (the default one i guess)... and changing it back to "gbpvr.exe -LiveTV", does not work !!! any idea ? :eek:

Has anyone encountered this on step 3 with mplex? I am not able to convert one of my dvds.

Well, it's me again with my wish for a 24hour-format in the web-gui instead of the AM/PM-format as it is today.

I've been wondering if it could be as simple as to change a line of code in any aspx-file, but haven't seen any obvious code for that in the files...

Anyone able to shed some light on this?

Seems i shed the light myself. It seems that Firefox is the culprit in this case, I.E. displays the timeformat correct. Boh! for firefox ! :mad: /EDIT

I've never wanted to skip to the beginning of a commerical block. It would be nice if the skip feature of GBPVR automatically skipped to the END of a block of commercials.

This way you can immediately skip when you just KNOW a commercial is coming, rather than having to do what I do today:
1) wait until you are IN the block and skip
2) skip twice
3) scan forward until you are in the commercial block and then skip

Will it work with GB-PVR? If it will, what settings should be used?

I may be reaching here...but just curious if anyone else has had similar issues. I have a Dell 400SC 2gig w/ 768 RAM, pvr350 + pvr250 and it's 'almost' running perfect! handful of plugins all working well so far. Only 2 80gig drives so far, but getting larger...

The other night I was doing a dvd-mpg and when i went back down to check, I had a rebooted black screen stating no hard drives can be found. I then powered off, back on, and voila, back to normal. I continued to play around with it and kept seeing it rebooted to the same state when i checked again. nothing in the logs at all that I can see.

Assuming it was the ripping process that was causing some type of funkiness with my hardware, I left it alone for the night...only to find that around noon the next day it did the same exact thing.

I would guess hardware related problems, but this server ran perfect for 1 1/2 years as a mail server never doing this. Seems like something with the hard drive controller, but like I said, it seems odd I never had problems. My next guess is possibly heat or power issues...but it's a pretty beefy server with a good size power supply. However, I do have the 2 pvr power hogs though, video card, usb/firewire card, 2 hd's, dvd burner and cd-rom...so tonight I yanked the cd-rom and the firewire card and i'll play the sitting game. Just wanted to see if anyone had seen anything like this or any other ideas to try. I have the latest drivers from Hauppage and all the gbpver stuff should be all up-to-date.

Hello there! I've been using GB-PVR for a few days! Great Software so far!

Anyway I had 2 recordings scheduled today and both have failed. The 1st one failed simply because the computer was turned off! DUH! SO I was wondering if it was possible to wake it up somehow... I believe it is unlikely though!

The important issue is with the 2nd recording. This time the system was on and it still failed. I left the computer open maybe and hour or so before the scheduled show. What could have cause this. Did the recording thingy in the system tray died completely instead of only sleeping?

I can't get this to work. I see my mpeg file and I see 2 text documents. I open up GB and choose recordings and then I play the episode. At that point I can't skip past commercials or anything. I'm confused. I have a PVR-150 MCE.
