When playing DVD's the screen size isnt being displayed wide enough. instead of say 16:9 its 12:8. The result is everything is streached vertically. Im using the nvidia decoder and dont see an option to adjust this. Is there a way to set this in gbpvr?

I'd love to see a plugin for DigiGuide which allows you to schedule recordings in GB-PVR. Functionality would be:
1) Open DigiGuide, locate programme you want to record
2) Right-click and choose "Record programme in GB-PVR"
3) The plugin sets a "Manual Recording" based on the parameters from DigiGuide
Given how well GB-PVR works compared to other apps ("it just works") this would make me switch from MCE2005 altogether.
Hi,
When starting LiveTV I get the message: 'Video is playing back using TV Out'.
TV Guide is ok. Installation looked ok, no external devices connected.
Anyone knows what to do. ?
New plug-in : Stocks - this plug-in retrieves information about the stocks you specify.
It is already possible to get stock data from the RSS plug-in, but I wanted more information than what the RSS feed has and wanted more control over displaying the data.
When pulling up the stocks, the data for each stock is retrieved in its own thread so the app is still responsive while waiting on the data.
The plug-in is very skinable. Everything about the look, colors, fonts, positions, shapes, etc. are pulled from skin file. Even the data displayed is configurable.
I bought a hauppage PVR150 card from the states, and so far it has been $160 bucks down the drain. I have sorted out the PAL issues, and have perfect live TV using winTV2000, but when I use GB-PVR I get very poor picture quality (It looks like it thinks it is NTSC). I have tried SageTV also, and it has the same problem!
So at this point it works fine in the crappy winTV2000 software, but nothing else!
In linux I have got it to go, but the picture quality is not as good as in winTV2000! ;(
Does anyone know of a simple method for turning the epg data available via dvb into a gbpvr-friendly xml file? I know that sub has said due to global variation in the quality of epg information he isn't going to implement this feature, but due to the decidedly variable quality of epg data available here (New Zealand) via normal means, this definitely looks like a possibility.
I found someone who has got this working in Linux - combining dvbstream to pull the entire TS off the transponder, then tv_grab_dvb to create the xml output, but I haven't been able to find any simple Windows equivalents - any ideas?
First off, great program. Been using it for a few days and most thing are great.
My problem is when i enter pause mode or record in live preview, the recoring goes for 1.00min then resets itself and starts recording again, very frustrating.
I've defragged, hdd is 45gb and empty
