Okay, this is my first tuner, and i was told this is a really good program. Here is my setup i have a Hauppauge PVR 250, I have a splitter from my satelite reciever to my tuner. Now all i want to do is watch what is on playing on the reciever in the other room, no changing the channels or anything from my tuner. Strictly just want to use my PC as a second TV, allowing me to watch what is on in the other room. I cant for the life of me figure out how to allow me to do this. It keeps telling me i have to download EPG stuff. Please help me out. Thanks

When I press the "Right Skip" button to go to the next song, it just repeats the same song. The interesting thing is that on the first song, when i did that, it seamlessly went to the next one (i tried this a few times), but when i did that on the second one, it would just begin that same track--same with the skip left button, it just repeats the same track, it doesn't go to the previous song. Is this a bug? Is this the way it was built?

I'm currently having no audio at all with live preview and encoder pass through on, selecting none or deinterlaced or ffdshow raw locks up my machine until I restart.

However with the pass through video appears but no audio at all. Is there a certain audo codec I need? I'm using the cyberlink one at the moment,

Hi, I am trying to add utilities from bladerhq.com, the 2 utilities I am trying to download and modify are: AddReOccuring & RecTracker.....

I've downloaded them, and unzip to the proper gbpvr directory.

My question:
I can't find these two batches that the site is saying to modify:
"POSTEPGUPDATE.BAT"
"POSTPROCESSING.BAT"

Help pls.....

This utility can be used to prevent shows that you have already seen from being re-recorded.

You will have to edit two batch files.

The postepgupdate.bat
rectracker -purge

The postprocessing.bat
rectracker %1

Folks:

I have a problem that I can't find on the forum. When I set a timed recording, it will not stop and will keep recording. It only stops when I interrupt by right-clicking on the sys-tray icon. Otherwise, it works better than the WinTV that is bundled with my PVR-150 (which is to say that I can record in stereo when WinTV cannot).

A few other questions:

Has anyone encountered problems with using the Digital Plus-B skin (my GBPVR won't even startup)?

i am having a problem where the picture isnt useing the full screen and it is of poor quality.. any ideas how to set gbpvr up to work with the same picture quality as the hauppauge drivers

I just thought I would drop a note to everyone, but instead of giving a problem, I would show how I am using my setup.

I have ripped about 60 or so DVD's into MPEG and ripped a few to Divx (still having problems here) but I have an MVP upstairs and downstairs. The upstairs is on Wireless G with no problems there. I have a ton of movies and TV shows from bit torrents and downloads as well.

Most of the movies I have ripped are for my 2 year old daughter. I don't want to have to shuffle around tons of DVD's so she can watch Elmo or whatever she is in the mood for. I can store them away safe and play everything from wherever on the server. (95% of my gb-pvr use is here) I can and regularly run a movie on both MVP's at the same time with no problem.

I don't have much of a need for the PC version of the application except to check local weather in a snap or fire up DVD2MPEG to rip in another DVD.

We also enjoy listening to music from all over the house without burning CD's. We have quite a few music video's as well.

I have used the Theatre plug-in twice with friends over so we could figure out where we wanted to go and what to see. I expect to need it a few more times in the future.

I just recently purchased a PVR150 from Hauppauge, but I am having hell getting it to work right. I have honestly been too busy to dig into it very well. I expect to get it working better pretty soon once I get back from vacation.

I have a Sapphire Theatrix 550 Pro card and i am trying to run this software, but everytime i try to click live tv, I get a message that says "error: unable to load DLL (howIRblast.dll)" Does anybody know what that is all about and what i can do?

I am a total newbie and just installed and tried to record some shows, I have a problem.....

I can record shows and the files (mpeg) were recorded correctly and I am able to view them from "RECORDINGS"; but, for some odd reason, I can't view LIVE TV?? It said (No Capture-Source was available to enable you to watch the requested channel) (it's recording at the time....)
What does that mean??am I doing anything wrong?

Another note, I can't view the files from windows media player?? How come?

XP pro
