i keep pushing blue to show me how much longer of a movie i have to watch during dvd playback, which of course takes me to the main menu.
so how about this
go = dvd menu
blue = osd (just like the rest of gbpvr)
green = subtitles (also show "English", "French", "Off" etc, it can be annoying if there are like 20 subtitles and you dont know which one you are on).
yellow = audio track (i like to listen to directors comments during some scenes etc + also show "English" "Commentary" etc).
Play+skip = next chapter
play+replay = prev chapter
also im not sure if this is possible, but if i zoom in to a 2.25:1 movie to get rid of the black borders, the subtitles for somedvds are cut off (ie they are shown in the black border) sub can you have any control of this? or is this part of the dvd and no way around this?
One cool thing that I found in the TV software for my video card is the ability to keep the tv on top, but partially transparent, so you can see through the TV to other programs that you have open. Is there a way of doing this in GB-PVR?
I am a new GBPVR user and so far so good, except for one thing. When I schedule a 'Record Season' and set Keep to 'All Recordings' it records each episode as expected, but only the most recently recorded episode is retained for each program. Am I wrong in expecting the system not to delete the old episodes?
Is the -LiveTV command line option working in .92 for anyone? I've tried using it and the -TVGude but nothing happens. The -topmost, -noframe and others work but not -LiveTV
I'm still not sure how the priorities work between the different ways to schedule shows and what is the best way to handle which shows I really want to record when I have multiple shows at the same time.
With the latest build of GB-PVR 92.8, the conflicts for recordings go away automatically now during the nightly EPG update.
However, if I delete or try to schedule another show in the same time slot as a show that was set up as a "season record" function in Xrecord, the season show will not delete. I can go into the gbpvr.mdb database and manually delete the show in the recording_schedule table which shows a "6" for status. Is there a difference in function for "seen it" and "delete"? Both of these options flag the status in the database as "6".
Also, in xrecord, after the nightly update, my icon pictures for some of my shows change and frequently they are not the right icons but are for different shows. I've seen a few posts about this coming from video archiver, but still am not sure if there is a fix. I even deleted all of the folder.jpg files with the recordings but they still come back to the wrong ones.
Does the DI Image-2 icon download work? I don't think I've ever been able to download from that one.
I've installed an ATI tv wonder elite and keep getting an error "Error: Object reference not set to an instance of an object" when I try to watch tv (clicking on live tv or from Zap2it listings. I'm able to watch TV without problems with the software bundled with the tv wonder elite, but would like to try gb-pvr with it.
I've been trying to add more fm stations to my list of 3 that seem to be installed when i installed the program ,,,,,i enter my frequencies but nothing happens.
If i click on one of the stations that were already there,,nothing happens,, now i do have fm on cable ,,,i have that plugged into my tuner ,, could this be the problem?? Would i have to use an antenna to receive these??
