  PostProcessing.bat not running?
Posted by: Beaker - 2005-05-16, 11:13 PM - Forum: GB-PVR Support (legacy) - Replies (10)

Hope you can help me...

My PostProcessing.bat does not seem to be running. Here is an excerpt from gbpvrrecordingservice.exe.log at the end of a recording:

Quote:16/05/2005 22:59:03.812 VERBOSE [31] - loading: South Park status:0 start: 28/05/2005 23:30
16/05/2005 23:00:00.109 VERBOSE [23] Recording has passed endtime+padding. Stopping.

16/05/2005 23:00:00.296 VERBOSE [23] RecordingStatus is now RecordingStatus.RECORDING_COMPETED
16/05/2005 23:00:00.296 VERBOSE [23] RecordingFactor.save()

16/05/2005 23:00:00.328 VERBOSE [23] RecordingFactory.loadSchedule()
16/05/2005 23:00:00.343 VERBOSE [23] - loading: South Park status:4 start: 01/01/2001 00:00
I did try out comskip a while back but it didn't work very well for me so I removed it.

Does it look like GB-PVR thinks it is still there?

Should that log mention the PostProcessing.bat?

Here what my PostProcessing.bat contains:

Quote:rectracker %1
RenameRecording %1
Both utilities are working fine from the command line but nothing is happening after a recording... Sad

Any ideas? Thanks.

  error: Failure Playing back file
Posted by: sojourner753 - 2005-05-16, 10:58 PM - Forum: GB-PVR Support (legacy) - Replies (4)

I don't know what happened. LiveTV was working up to a point. Now I only get a black screen.

When I turn off LivePreview I get this error: "error: Failure Playing back file".

I've tried uninstalling and deleting the program directory and re-installing. But it doesn't help.

Here's a log (GBPVR.exe-native.log) file snippet.

Unexpected error in DrawImage: The object is currently in use elsewhere.

  skip/fastforward problem
Posted by: anedjf - 2005-05-16, 08:45 PM - Forum: GB-PVR Support (legacy) - No Replies

I'm having a repeatable problem when fastforwarding/rewinding/skipping using the MVP during playback of a program which is currently recording. FF/RW/Skip work fine with programs that have already recorded. Also, though I haven't tested as thuroughly, it seems that I have the same issue when I pause live TV, though the "blank" button does bring be back to live, as it should.

Basically, instead of skipping 30 seconds (what I configured in the Config app), it skips some random amount, sometimes to the end of the program, sometimes to the beginning, sometimes a random number of minutes. There seems to be no pattern. This occours with either ff/rw or skip.

Again, all is fine with programs that have already recorded.

I haven't tested on the Client softwar,e only on the MPV.

Has anyone else seen this behavior? I am on the release 12b.

Thanks,
ANEDJF

  Hauppage Problem ( mono/stereo )
Posted by: Squid - 2005-05-16, 07:35 PM - Forum: GB-PVR Support (legacy) - Replies (5)

Hello,

I was wondering if anyone else had a problem with a PVR-150 not out putting sound for some broadcast channels? I traced the problem to the card not outputting if it detects a mono audio source. The wierdness is that if I disconncet my antennea then plug it back in after the static, it will then give me stereo audio.

I just thought with alot of hauppage card owners, maybe someone had a similar problem and had a solution. Thanks.

Does this product have beter FF functions than the standard Hauppage 2.2 software ?
The buttons 1-9 offer some 'jump to' functionality but they result in audio/video sync problems.
I miss a function where I can make an MPG start at for example 23 minutes.
I had this before on my KISS DVD player...

  small bug...
Posted by: lansalot - 2005-05-16, 06:50 PM - Forum: GB-PVR Support (legacy) - Replies (1)

Stupidly went into Config to check out channel maps while TV was on, and of course the moment it tried to start the channel preview - bang. Full-on reboot.

My own fault, but perhaps a situation that could be trapped and handled gracefully?

  MVP Documentation and FAQ !
Posted by: wrocky - 2005-05-16, 06:49 PM - Forum: MVP & NMT - Replies (3)

As I'm not up on my coding, I thought I'd contribute something back to this project by helping out with the documentation on the Wiki.

I've added some content to The MVP section of the Wiki but need your help for content. A few points are captured from postings, but could use more clarity.

If you have anything that you would like to see in there, either post it here or Private Message me and I'll add it in.

  xrecord - Scheduling problem
Posted by: Beaker - 2005-05-16, 06:36 PM - Forum: Old Stuff (Legacy) - Replies (5)

Great plugin, jorm - thanks for the v24 update.

I'm having one problem. When I search for a show in FastFind and then schedule it to record the season, I set the quality to Low.

When I take a look at Pending or Reoccuring, though, the quality is set to Medium.

So I go to Reoccuring and I update the season to Low there. But when I look in Pending, they are still set to Medium!

I must then update each scheduled show individually to get it to record at Low. Sad

Am I going about this the wrong way or is this a bug?

Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks.
